Bell: In for Morgan
England have given a hint to their starting line-up for the first Ashes Test after naming Ian Bell for the opening warm-up game.
The inclusion of Bell was the only change to the side that beat Pakistan at Lord's in England's last Test outing in August - with Eoin Morgan making way for the clash against Western Australia in Perth.
That meant Jimmy Anderson, who had injured his ribs in the team's pre-tour training camp, was passed fit to play.
Graeme Swann also took to the field at WACA despite fears over his fitness after he was struck on the hand by a delivery from Tim Bresnan in the nets.
