Derbyshire have released seam bowler Tom Lungley after 11 years with the county.
Lungley has taken 149 wickets in 55 first-class appearances and enjoyed his best summer in 2007 when he claimed 78 dismissals in all competitions.
The 31-year-old has played seven matches in the LV County Championship this season, picking up 19 wickets at 33.15, but has featured little in the one-day arena and Derbyshire declined to offer him a new contract.
"These decisions are always difficult especially when they involve a player who has been with the club for so long," Derbyshire head of cricket John Morris told the county's official website.
"Tom was as good as anybody in county cricket during that 2007 season but he has unfortunately been unable to repeat that kind of form in the three campaigns that have followed.
"I'm sure I am joined by everybody connected with the club in thanking Tom for his efforts during 11 seasons and wishing him all the best for the future."
