Somerset bowler Andrew Caddick will retire from the game at the end of the season.

The 40-year-old former England international was the leading English wicket-taker in 2007, but he has since suffered with injuries and is to call it a day when the current campaign finishes.

Caddick played in 62 Tests for his country and took 234 wickets at 29.91, as well as 69 wickets in 54 One-Day Internationals.

He is ranked eighth on the all-time England Test wicket-takers list.
