The Rajasthan Royals have signed spinner Johan Botha just days after the South African was cleared of having an illegal action.
The 27-year-old underwent stringent testing at the University of Western Australia in Perth after his action was cited during the recent one-day series with Australia.
He has now been cleared to play, although he will not be allowed to bowl his doosra - the ball that moves away from right-handed batsmen.
Rajasthan skipper Shane Warne is full of praise for his new recruit, believing he will be a valuable asset for the IPL Champions.
He told the Royals' official website: "Johan Botha is a sensational player and we were disappointed when he couldn't be part of our squad at the start of the tournament.
"It is a real boost that he can now make an impact when called upon."
Botha could make his Royals bow as early as Thursday afternoon when the side take on the Mumbai Indians.
