Tillakaratne Dilshan has been rewarded for his centuries against Bangladesh with a call into Sri Lanka's squad to face Pakistan in a three-match one-day series.
The middle-order batsman scored 162 and 143 in the final Test of the 2-0 series victory against Bangladesh at Chittagong earlier in January.
He was omitted from the squad for the triangular one-day series against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, starting Saturday.
But he has been recalled for the tour of Pakistan, which gets underway in Karachi on January 21.
Sri Lanka then head to Lahore and Faisalabad under the guidance of skipper Mahela Jayawardene before the two-Test series that follows.
Former Under 19 captain Angelo Matthews and fellow youngster Thilina Kandamby will also tour the country, while paceman Dammika Prasad misses out.
