Fit-again finger spinner Ajantha Mendis has teamed up with Sri Lanka's squad in Bangladesh.
The 23-year-old has recovered from an injury to his right ankle sustained in a domestic game at the start of December.
Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath replaced the Kolkata Knight Riders star for the Bangladesh series, but Mendis has now arrived in Dhaka ahead of the second and final Test in Chittagong.
"My ankle is alright now as I am feeling no pain," Mendis said on Monday.
Mendis was named man of the series on his Test debut against India in the summer and played a vital role in the Lions clinching the series 2-1.
He joins a squad currently in firm command of the first Test against Bangladesh, with Monday declared a rest day because of parliamentary elections in the country.
