Yuvraj Singh is likely to be fit for the one-day series against Australia and Sri Lanka despite picking up a knee injury in training.
Yuvraj collapsed holding his left knee while playing football with team-mates before the opening session on day two of the ongoing third Test against Australia, sparking immediate fears his tour could be over.
However, the injury is not as bad as first feared and the 26-year-old will stay with the squad ahead of the tri-nations series starting on February 3.
The left-handed batsman was dropped for the third Test after scoring just 17 runs in the first two matches, but as a limited overs specialist is a pivotal part of the one-day set-up.
The fourth Test against Australia begins next Thursday but Yuvraj is unlikely to be considered for selection.
