Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh both look set to play in Saturday's World Twenty20 semi-final against Australia.
Batsman Yuvraj missed the victory over South Africa on Thursday due to tendonitis in his left elbow, while Dhoni handed the wicketkeeping gloves to Dinesh Karthik due to back pain.
But captain Dhoni confirmed that he expects both himself and Yuvraj to be available to face Australia in Durban.
"I am still smiling so I will hopefully play the next match," he said.
"It was just a strain in the lower back, on the right hand side. I had the luxury of having Karthik in the side, who is a specialist keeper.
"I did not want to aggravate the injury. I think hopefully it will be fine before the semi-final."
On Yuvraj, he added: "Yuvi had a bit of a problem with his elbow but he should be ready for the next match as well."
