Jacques Kallis will not reconsider quitting as vice-captain after Andre Nel replaced Loots Bosman in the Twenty20 squad.

Jacques Kallis will not be reconsidering his decision to quit as Test vice-captain, after he was again overlooked for thee World Twenty20 with Andre Nel replacing Loots Bosman in the South Africa squad.
Kallis originally handed in the vice-captaincy after not being selected for the host nation South Africa's World Twenty20 squad.
Cricket South Africa had asked him to reconsider, but they now acknowledge that he will not be changing his mind.
Batsman Loots Bosman's back injury had led to talk that Kallis would be called up into the Twenty20 squad as a replacement, but it later emerged that paceman Andre Nel had been drafted in.
"When Jacques accepted the vice-captaincy two years ago at the start of Mickey Arthur's term as national coach, it was always on the basis that he would see how he enjoyed the extra responsibility of the position and he would review it after a suitable period," CSA chief executive Gerald Majola said.
"Jacques has now decided that he wants to concentrate on his own game. Our discussions were entirely cordial and constructive and it is only right that we accept his decision."
Nel called up
Kallis was furious at not being included for the World Twenty20, while CSA insisted that he needed a rest before a busy period of Test cricket.
Bosman had to pull out of the Twenty20 squad after hurting his back in a collision with an advertising hoarding against Zimbabwe last month.
Although it was a batsman that pulled out of the squad, selection convenor Joubert Strydom said Nel's inclusion would strengthen the bowling line-up.
"We are well stocked in the top three batting department with five players - Graeme Smith, Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers, Goolam Bodi and JP Duminy - all technically equipped to deal with the new ball and having the expansive stroke play to force the pace where necessary," said Strydom.
Quota
Norman Arendse, the president of Cricket SA, said while the board aimed at having seven players of colour in the squad, this was not a quota.
"Quotas are set in stone while targets are something to strive for. The selectors have convinced me that there are logical and rational cricket reasons for opting for Nel," he said.
"These included an examination of strike rates, economy rates, number of wickets taken and the like of the leading candidates."
