County Championship - updates from around the grounds.

DIVISION ONE

Somerset v Yorkshire

Yorkshire 419 all out –  Adil Rashid has just been dismissed for 99 at Taunton, the second man to fall one short of three figures in this match following Somerset's Tom Cooper. Johann Myburgh got Rashid out, Alfonso Thomas taking the catch. Yorkshire went on to establish a 373-run lead with the match heading inexorably towards a draw. The Tykes have 15 overs of the final day to skittle the hosts out in Taunton.

Worcestershire v Durham

Durham 241-3 - Durham cruised to victory at Worcester, winning by six wickets. They resumed this morning on 241-3 and reached their victory target of 318 with the loss of just one wicket - Paul Collingwood, who began the day on 111no and went on to reach 127. Michael Richardson (66no) and Gordon Muchall got them home.

DIVISION TWO

Kent v Surrey

Surrey 196-7 - Surrey have made it in Beckenham, winning by three wickets. The visitors - 44-1 at the start of play chasing 190 to win - were in a bit of bother at one point this morning on 75-4, with Kumar Sangakkara back in the hutch cheaply. But Steven Davies (35) and in particular Jason Roy (60no off 51 balls) steered them to victory in a hurry after lunch. Roy was the only Surrey player to score at 50 in the match and he is finding a bit of form now this season after a patchy start.

Lancashire v Derbyshire

Derbyshire 166 all out - Game, set and match to Lancashire in Southport, and a very disappointing morning from the visitors, beaten by an innings and 15 runs. They began it on 129-3, with high hopes of battling for a draw, particularly with Hashim Amla at the crease. But in the event, they lost all seven wickets for the addition of 43 runs to the off-spin of Arron Lilley (5-23) and leg-spin of Simon Kerrigan (4-80). Amla fell for 11, bowled by Kerrigan. Nightwatchman Tom Taylor (2) and Steve Elstone (0) were removed by Lilley and the rest fell away.
