A pace-bowling master will be reflecting on his career in the latest episode of Sporting Heroes.
Joel Garner terrorised international batsmen in the 1970s and '80s with his express deliveries and formed part of a formidable flotilla of West Indies quicks that also featured Sky Sports commentator Michael Holding, Andy Roberts and Colin Croft.
The Barbadian scooped 259 Test wickets from 58 matches at an average of just under 21 during a period of dominance for the Windies, while he also prospered in the 50-over format, seizing 146 scalps in 98 games.
Garner flourished on the domestic scene, too, enjoying a near decade-long spell at Somerset and winning a host of one-day trophies with team-mates including Sky Sports analyst and legendary all-rounder Sir Ian Botham.
The 6ft 8in paceman will discuss his life and achievements with Gary Newbon, looking back on his days as a budding cricketer with Barbados through to his glory times with the all-conquering West Indies squad.
There will be plenty of interesting stories and perhaps even details of Beefy's infamous barbecues, so make sure you tune into Sky Sports over the next few days to catch one of the showings.
