Youngsters Jack Leaning and Will Rhodes have committed their futures to Yorkshire by signing new deals with the county.

Leaning and former England U19 captain Rhodes will continue their development with Yorkshire after agreeing deals keeping them at Headingley through to the end of 2017.

Leaning, 21, played 10 matches for the county in their 2014 Championship winning success and enjoyed a successful Royal London One-Day Cup campaign where he averaged 55.

“I’m delighted to have signed a new contract with Yorkshire,” said Leaning.

“I am still learning my trade as a professional cricketer. It was very special to be part of a winning team last year in my first full season. I hope that I can continue to progress and contribute to the long-term success of the club.”
