Andrew Flintoff has been named in Lancashire's squad for their NatWest T20 Blast clash with Birmingham this evening.
Flintoff came out of retirement in May to play a part in the Red Rose's Twenty20 campaign, although this is the closest he has come to playing for their first XI since his return.
The 36-year-old retired five years ago in the wake of England's 2009 Ashes triumph over Australia.
He has made a couple of appearances for Lancashire's second XI, even playing a 50-over match against Nottinghamshire where he thumped 40 off just 23 balls to help his side to victory.
But Lancashire's form in Twenty20 cricket has so far kept Flintoff out of their plans - they head into tonight's game at Edgbaston level on points with North Group leaders Worcestershire.
