Australia batsman Shaun Marsh will miss the forthcoming Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India due to injury.
The 30-year-old suffered a hamstring strain during the fourth one-day international against England on Saturday.
Marsh watched Australia clinch the series with a 49-run victory in Southampton before returning home for treatment on the injury, and he will play no part for the Perth Scorchers in India.
Cricket Australia team doctor Peter Brukner said in a statement: "Shaun sustained a right hamstring muscle strain in the fourth ODI in Cardiff and had an MRI scan which confirmed the diagnosis.
"Shaun will now return home to Perth for further treatment."
Marsh had been due to fly straight to India for the Champions League Twenty20, a tournament featuring the leading domestic T20 clubs from around the world.
