Zimbabwean scored 48 centuries in 12 seasons with the county
Veteran batsman Murray Goodwin will depart Sussex at the end of the season.
The Zimbabwean has spent 12 years at Hove, scoring 48 centuries at an average of nearly 50.
"It deeply saddens me that I have to leave Sussex at the end of the season," he said.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my 12 years at Sussex, my family have loved every year here, and we feel so privileged to have been associated with this wonderful club."
