Quotes of the week

Both Australian batsmen have previously spent time at Trent Bridge and Voges will return for the start of the 2011 season.

He will be joined by Hussey for the Friends Provident t20, when two overseas players are allowed - and Hussey will then stay on for the latter part of the summer.

"Adam and David made big contributions for us last season and the prospect of pairing them in the Friends Provident t20 is something that we're very excited about," said Notts director of cricket Mick Newell.

"It is very difficult to secure a player for an entire season but these two have established themselves as our preferred options and their availability suits us."

Highlight

Voges, whose century helped set up the title-clinching win over Lancashire in the final match of last season, said: "Winning the championship with Nottinghamshire was a major highlight of my career and I am looking forward to returning to Trent Bridge and picking up where I left off.

"Being in the same Nottinghamshire team as David Hussey will be a strange experience for me because it has been one or the other in recent seasons but we both share a real affinity for the club."

Hussey added: "I've built a great relationship with Mick Newell and all of the players at Notts and I am looking forward to spending more time at Trent Bridge in 2011."
