Wicketkeeper Matt Prior insists England remain unfazed about the increasing calls for master leg-spinner Shane Warne to return.
Speculation that Warne could make a dramatic recall almost four years after his last Test appearance has been mounting in the aftermath of the innings and 71 runs defeat in Adelaide.
Warne, who took 708 wickets in 145 Tests, has refused to rule out a return, while the Australia selectors have also remained silent.
Prior, though, insists that England will prepare meticulously for whoever Australia select - whether it is Warne or another vintage player from yesteryear.
"If he's going to come back, great. If he's not, who knows?" he said.
"Whoever comes into the Australian team, we'll have to look at, process and work out how we're going to play them.
"Whether it be Shane Warne, Merv Hughes or anyone else, we'll look at the video footage and respect them like we would any other cricketer."
