Glamorgan have confirmed former Australia batsman Mark Cosgrove as their second overseas player for next season's Friends Provident t20.

Cosgrove scored 562 runs for the Welsh county in last season's competition - and has been in impressive form for state side Tasmania.

The 26-year-old has now agreed to return for a third season and will join South African Alviro Petersen at the club.

Cosgrove told the club's official site: "This will be my fourth season with Glamorgan and I'm delighted to be returning.

"The club has a talented squad and I look forward to what I hope will be a successful Twenty20 campaign in 2011."
