Somerset have further boosted their fast-bowling options with the signing of right-arm paceman Gemaal Hussain.
Hussain rejected a new contract from Gloucestershire earlier in the month, claiming that he wanted to further his career by competing in LV= County Championship Division One.
The 27-year-old, who took 67 wickets last term, has got his wish and joins fellow quick Steve Kirby at Taunton after the veteran also opted to leave Gloucestershire.
"As a developing cricketer, I could not wish for a better opportunity, and intend to give my all," Hussain told Somerset's website www.somersetcountycc.co.uk.
"My ambition is to become a successful England bowler, and I believe that the tough challenge of Division One cricket will bring the best out in me over time."
