Worcestershire have released medium-pace bowler Imran Arif after three seasons with the county.
The Pakistan-born seamer has made 16 LV=County Championship appearances for the Pears, taking 41 wickets during that time.
He featured as an overseas player in the second half of the 2008 campaign, but was granted a British passport in March 2009.
However, after failing to force his way into the first-team regularly this term, Worcestershire have deemed the 26-year-old surplus to requirements.
Director of cricket Steve Rhodes told the ECB website: "I have enjoyed working with Imran, who has been an excellent team player, but after impressing in his first year Imran has been unable to maintain a regular first-team place over the past two seasons.
"I feel that a new challenge at a new venue will bring out the best in Imran and wish him the very best for the future."
