Bangladesh have been dealt a major injury blow as Mushfiqur Rahim and Raqibul Hasan have both been ruled out of the rest of the one-day series with England.
England eased to a six-wicket victory in the first of a three-match series after chasing down the tourists' target of 251 at Trent Bridge.
Wicketkeeper Mushfiqur was forced to leave the field on a stretcher after being struck in the face by a delivery from Faisal Hossain.
He was sent to hospital for x-rays on Thursday evening but has already been ruled out for one week, meaning he will miss the remaining contests on Saturday and Monday.
Raqibul provided a bright spot in the Tigers' loss as he made 76 before being run out, but will be out of action for two weeks after fracturing his toe due to a yorker from James Anderson.
"Mushfiqur is still in hospital and he is out for a week," Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza said.
"Raqibul is out for two weeks, he has a fracture in his toe.
"We are trying to bring a keep over maybe, and (Mohammad) Ashraful or Naeem (Islam) may be coming over too. But we don't know, we haven't taken that decision."
