Shoulder operation sidelines Gloucestershire paceman

Gloucestershire seamer Ian Saxelby has been ruled out for the rest of the season by a shoulder injury. Saxelby, 20, has dislocated his right shoulder three times since January and will undergo surgery in an effort to save his career. "The plan if all goes well is for me to go abroad perhaps around January time to get some competitive cricket in a warmer climate," he told the county's official website. "I can't see any prospect of me playing again this summer. I'm told it will be three months or so after the operation before I get full rotation in my shoulder again. "Then it will be a case of building up the muscles again."
