Seamer signs two-year deal at Hove

Seam bowler James Anyon has moved to Sussex on a two-year contract. Warwickshire agreed to release Anyon, who spent most of the 2009 season recovering from a foot injury. The 26-year-old has taken 112 wickets at an average of 40.25 since making his first-class debut in 2003. "I'm very excited about the move to Hove," Anyon told the Sussex's official website. "Tim Ambrose and Stefan Piolet were both with Sussex and they had nothing but good things to say about the club, although I already knew how well run it was. "I just want to settle down, bowl lots of overs and get back to the form I showed two or three years ago. It is time to start again." Sussex professional cricket manager Mark Robinson said: "James has always performed very well against us, which is always a factor when you look to sign a new player. "He's at a great age and is hungry and looking for a fresh start."
