Spin wizard has no plans to fill the gap left by MacGill's exit
Shane Warne has insisted he is "happily retired" despite speculation linking him to a return to Test cricket.
The Australian spinner bowed out in January 2007 after taking a then world record 708 Test wickets - however he had hinted that he could be tempted to return for the 2009 Ashes series if Stuart MacGill was injured.
And with fellow leg spinner MacGill opting to call time on his 44-Test career on Sunday, speculation has increased that Warne will make himself available again.
"I've got no interest at all at this stage," said Warne.
"I'm very happily retired... I'm comfortable where I'm at the moment.
"I actually said I was happily retired and if Stuart MacGill broke his leg - which he hasn't, he's retired - and there was no other spinner in Australia and if Ricky (Ponting) asked me, I'd consider it.
"If that's coming back out of retirement, I'm not sure. I don't think it is."
