Warwickshire have signed Sanath Jayasuriya for next season's Twenty20 Cup.
The veteran Sri Lankan retired from Test cricket earlier this month after the win against England in Kandy, although he remains available for one-dayers.
The 38-year-old is one of the finest ever batsman in limited-overs cricket and brings a wealth of experience to Edgbaston, having made his international debut back in 1989.
"Sanath has vast experience in all forms of cricket but especially the one day format," Warwickshire director of cricket Ashley Giles told the county's official website.
"He will be a great man for the younger members of our squad to learn from and his knowledge of the game will be crucial in the Twenty20.
"I am looking forward to working with him next summer."
