Somerset extended their lead at the top of Division Two after enjoying the better of rain-affected draw against Glamorgan at Cardiff.

Somerset extended their lead to 42.5 points at the top of Division Two after enjoying the better of rain-affected draw against Glamorgan at Cardiff.
Justin Langer led the way with 113 as the Cidermen reached 400-6 in their first innings to earn maximum batting bonus points before the captains agreed on a draw.
Langer's innings allowed him to become the fifth Somerset batsman to pass 1,000 first-class runs this season.
He shared a second-wicket stand of 117 with Neil Edwards (92), while Neil McKenzie (50) and Wes Durston (58) also contributed half-centuries lower down the order.
In the morning, Alex Wharf and Robert Croft shared a seventh-wicket partnership of 73, the only highlight of Glamorgan's first innings effort of 198 all out.
Somerset's veteran seam bowler Andrew Caddick claimed 4-48 to take his wicket tally for the season to 61.
Day Three
Andrew Caddick made it worth the wait for Somerset when play finally got underway against Glamorgan at 2.45pm on the third afternoon.
Veteran seamer Caddick raced in with the new ball to claim 3-20 as Glamorgan slumped to 150-6 in the 55 overs that were possible.
It could have been worse for the Welsh county, who were 92-6 before seventh-wicket pair Alex Wharf (41no) and Robert Croft (32no) instigated a recovery with an ubroken 58-run stand.
Day two
Rain prevented any play for the second consecutive day between Glamorgan and Somerset at Cardiff.
The bottom versus top clash in Division Two now looks destined for a draw unless the weather improves on the final two days and the captains are willing to engineer a run-chase.
Day one
Rain held up Division Two leaders Somerset as the first day's play in the LV County Championship match against Glamorgan was abandoned.
Umpires Neil Mallender and Peter Hartley delayed their decision until after lunch, when it was clear that no play would be possible.
The latest rain delay comes just 48 hours after Glamorgan's NatWest Pro40 League encounter against Somerset at Colwyn Bay was abandoned without a ball bowled.
The Welsh side's most recent four-day game against Leicestershire at Abergavenny was a complete wash out.
