There have been some staggering sixes hit in this year's Big Bash League.

Chris Gayle - Renegades v Strikers
The Renegades needed a big win in their final game against the Strikers to qualify for the final. Cue Chris Gayle, who hit this massive six on his way to the joint-record-fastest T20 fifty.
Dan Christian - Hurricanes v Heat
Dan Christian appears for the first time on our list with this effort that looks pure child's play compare to his second entry. How about trying to clear the roof of the Gabba, and then we'll take notice....
Chris Lynn - Heat v Stars
Watch on as Chris Lynn smokes one of his tournament-topping 27 sixes against the Stars. A bruised Ben Hilfenhaus can only look on in horror as his length ball is hoicked over the leg side boundary.
Andre Russell - Thunder v Scorchers
What an overseas signing Andre Russell proved to be for the tournament-winning Sydney Thunder. This one of his 15 sixes for the side, very nearly was the biggest of BBL05, falling just short of this one....
Dan Christian - Hurricanes v Heat (again!)
We're still getting over the shock of this one! We asked Christian to clear the roof of the Gabba, and boy did he deliver, and then some. You have to see to believe this huge hit.
