Over 1 - Ind 2/0. Excellent start by Watson, beating Rohit Sharma's outside edge twice and giving up just a single and a wide. Dhawan timed his first ball nicely but straight to a fielder.
Over 20 - Aus 201/5. Ishant Sharma fires in those yorkers, but Faulkner got under the last one and belted it over long on for six to take the total past 200. Finch hit a glorious 89, with support from Maddinson (34) and Maxwell (27). An even bigger score looked on the cards, but Kumar and Vinay Kumar pulled things back nicely, each finishing with three wickets while Jadeja went at less than a run a ball. Still, India need to go at over ten to the over from ball 1.
Over 19 - Aus 190/7. Vinay Kumar looks for the yorkers to good effect, despite conceding a boundary to one that was a bit too wide. An excellent return for him with 3-25.
Over 18 - Aus 180/7. WICKET! Kumar will also claim a third wicket as he scoops up an easy catch to Yuvraj at point, who almosst lets it slip through his fingers. Kumar finishes his spell with 3-35.
Over 17 - Aus 176/6. WICKET! Finch goes to a full toss. He could have hit it anywhere, but ti went back to the left of Vinay Kumar at a comfortable height. It still took some catching though, and the bowler, who now has 3 wickets to his name, needs some work on the fingers. Finch c and b Vinay Kumar 89 (52), with 14 fours and a six.
Over 16 - Aus 172/5. Finch continues to take full toll on the Indian bowling, picking off the boundaries at will. Ishant Sharma did fight back well though after both of the opening deliveries flashed away to the rope.
Over 15 - Aus 157/5. Another good over from Jadeja to keep Finch quiet. Jadeja finishes his work with the ball with a credible return of 1-23 in his four overs.
Over 14 - Aus 151/5 WICKET! An expansive but expensive drive for Haddin as a thick edge carries comfortably to Dhoni behind the stumps. Haddin c Dhoni b Kumar 5 (3). No sweat for Finch though, as he crashes a back of a length delivery between long on and deep mid wicket to take the total past 150.
Over 13 - Aus 143/4. Finch continues to march on in style, taking another couple of boundaries off Kohli's gentle medium pace. He looks set for another T20 century, and his form has been a revelation.
Over 12 - Aus 129/4. WICKET! Maxwell's whirlwind innings comes to an end as he finds the tall Ishant Sharma on the long on boundary. Just an inch or two higher would have been enough, as the umpires first satisfy themselves that Sharma did not touch the boundary in completing the catch. Maxwell c I Sharma b Jadeja 27 (13). Haddin is off the mark with a well timed steer from his first ball.
Over 11 - Aus 124/3. Dhoni is forced to roll the dice and gives the ball to Kohli. Not a bad over, but Maxwell did slog him once over mid wicket for the maximum.
Over 10 - Aus 114/3. A huge over there as Ashwin goes for 24. An elegant boundary off the first ball took Finch to his 50 off 29 balls, and Maxwell followed up with three huge sixes. He almost gave it away off the last ball with a pretty ordinary reverse sweep almost bowling him.
Over 9 - Aus 90/3. Another good over for Jadeja, just giving up a few singles. A six and six singles in two overs, the left arm spinner will be happy with that.
Over 8 - Aus 86/3. DOUBLE WICKET! Vinay Kumar is back and dimisses Watson. There might have been a bit of an inside edge, but the umpire thinks not. Watson lbw b Vinay Kumar 6 (5). Bailey is the new batsman, but does not long as he goes for the pull early on and is taken at deep mid wicket. Bailey c Jadeja b Vinay Kumar 0 (3). Maxwell out in the middle now.
Over 7 - Aus 82/1. Jadeja enters the attack and produces a tight over. Pity about the one where Finch came forward and lashed it over extra cover and into the crowd.
Over 6 - Aus 74/1. Another big over ends the PowerPlay. Finch continues to drive powerfully, but one of those boundaries did come off the thick outside edge and was misfielded at point. Ishant Sharma is looking distraught underneath his long locks.
Over 5 - Aus 60/1. WICKET! Maddinson misses the slower ball as Kumar returns to the attack and dries up the runs for a few balls. The previous ball was played elegantly to the point boundary, but that was it for the debutant. Maddinson b Kumar 34 (16). Watson starts with a boundary to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Over 4 - Aus 48/0. Ishant Sharma's turn to get pasted, as his first ball disappears way over the mid wicket boundary. The second went for four, but he did well to give up just two singles off the next four balls.
Over 3 - Aus 36/0. Ashwin is into the attack early on, but is taken for four boundaries in his first over. The Australians are using their feet nicely here, and the boundaries are flowing in all directions.
Over 2 - Aus 19/0. Maddinson hits another lofted off drive, but also gets a thick edge to third man for another boundary. He has played and missed a few times as Vinay Kumar takes up the attack.
Over 1 - Aus 9/0. Some early movement for Kumar, but both batsmen responded with well timed boundaries straight down the ground.

India have won the toss and will field first. There might be something in the pitch after it has been under the covers for a while. There is a possibility of rain. Nick Maddinson makes his international debut for Australia, while Yuvraj Singh makes a welcome return after a lenghty break for ill health.
