Bold move from Morgan, bringing his main spinner Tredwell into the attack during the powerplay. Gayle plays out three dots but then makes his move, advancing to drive for four and lofting the next one for a huge six just to the leg-side of straight. He blocks the final delivery of the over with a text-book forward defence, almost mocking Tredwell.
Smith is teeing off; he hits two sixes in Bresnan's over, the first edged just over the rope at third-man and the second nothing more than a chip towards midwicket.
Jade Dernbach shares the new ball with Bresnan. Lumb hurt his leg trying to catch that Smith skier in the first over and has gone off. Stokes is on the field in his place. The over is a quiet one until the final delivery, which Gayle steps down and launches over the the stand at midwicket. It landed on the corrugated roof and bounced out of the ground.
Adventurous opening over for Smith. He plays and misses at Bresnan's first ball, lofts a drive just out of reach of Lumb running back from mid-off and then hammers a pair of short balls for four and six respectively.
How good a total is that from England? Hales says he thinks it's "five or 10" short of par but the tourists would certainly have taken it when they were 26-3.
Bravo's lone blemish in a final over costing nine runs was a length delivery that was dispatched back over his head for six by Bresnan.

Santokie was described as a left-arm version of Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga by Marcus Trescothick during the rain break. You can see what he means, minus about 20mph in pace. In between the wickets of Buttler and Bopara, new batsman Wright got off the mark with a first-ball four back over Santokie's head.
Santokie strikes again with the last delivery of his allocation, Bopara sending a catch to Bravo moving to his left at deep long-off. Santokie finishes with 4-21.
Buttler departs to the first ball of Santokie's second spell, slicing a drive to Sammy moving backwards from point. Buttler hit five fours and three sixes in his 43-ball stay.
Bravo continues to send down his slower-ball variations and the over is going well until the final ball, which is driven flat over mid-on for six by Buttler. Bravo got the length wrong.
Russell's left with a stinging hand after fielding Bopara's firmly-struck drive in his follow-through. Buttler tries his trademark ramp but only gets a single and, later in the over, swings himself off his feet only to drive straight at cover. The final ball, a full toss, is dispatched back over the bowler for four by Buttler.
Bopara waits and waits, and then waits some more, before pulling Bravo's slower-ball bouncer to the square-leg boundary. He split the two fielders back on the fence. Bravo is dealing almost exclusively in slower balls. Just singles for the remainder of the over.
Russell returns to finish off the final three balls of his over after a delay of around 45 minutes. Buttler pushes a single into the leg-side to complete a 33-ball half-century (4x4, 2x6), his second in T20 internationals.
The rain has stopped and the covers are being removed. Play will restart in 10 minutes, no overs lost.
The heavy shower has passed though the Kensington Oval but the rain hasn't actually stopped yet, some light 'mizzle' is hanging around. No overs have been lost yet.
Nick Knight says the game is 'evenly poised' at the rain delay. The break has come at a bad time for England because Buttler was dominating. Still, it's been an excellent fightback from the tourists from 26-3. They looked like they might fold at that point.

Bravo, the latest West Indies seamer into the firing line, ends the 76-run, Hales-Buttler stand but only after dropping Buttler off his own bowling from a skied drive. He called for the catch despite others being better placed and it clanged off his outstretched fingers into the ground. Bopara replaces Hales but he'll have to wait to face his first ball as Buttler keeps the strike with a single.
Hales' 36-ball innings ends with a catch to Simmons on the midwicket boundary. Right down his throat.
A short ball from Rampaul is heaved for six by Hales with a full extension of the arms. Hales pulls another short ball later in the over just short of Smith on the square-leg boundary. Buttler finishes the over by lofting a six to straight midwicket. Stand and deliver.
Sammy's first delivery is short and pulled for four by Buttler. Dropped! Gayle gets his left hand on a diving chance from Hales at backward point. Would have been some catch but didn't stick. Buttler flat bats another four down the ground and then scoops for six over his left shoulder. What a shot! That brings up the half-century stand from 41 balls. A single down the ground makes it 17 from the over and allows Buttler to keep the strike. Take a rest Darren.
Good over from Rampaul, just four singles from it. He's anticipating what the batsmen are going to do and making the necessary adjustments. Buttler backed away and Rampaul followed him, jamming in the yorker.
Hales comes down the track at Samuels to loft the first six of the innings over straight midwicket. Sweet strike, almost went out of the ground. The ball is eventually found and returned. Hales also picked up a pair of twos earlier in the over and keeps the strike with a drop-and-run single. A total of 12 runs from the over make it England's best of the innings.
Ravi Rampaul is on to replace Badree at the Joel Garner End. His first ball is short and flies to the boundary, one bounce, via Buttler's outside edge. He was aiming at midwicket. Dropped! Hales advances, doesn't get close to the pitch, follows through anyway and drives high in the air. Wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin over-runs the ball as it swirls in the air and, in the end, fails to lay a glove on it reaching back. Rampaul is mixing up his pace, bowling a few cutters, following Santokie's example.
Samuels, one of three players fined part of their match fee for a verbal altercation during the series opener (Bopara and Sammy were the others), is into the attack. Buttler collects four via a square drive despite the best efforts of Santokie sticking out his left boot on the boundary. Samuels is round-the-wicket to Buttler, who keeps the strike with a single forced into the covers off the back foot.
Badree bowls mainly googlies and over-spinners that shoot through a bit quicker. Not many leg-breaks. Four singles in the over means Badree finishes with 1-16, including 12 dot balls. Job done again from the veteran Trinidad leg-spinner.
Thick outside edge gets Buttler off the mark first ball. Santokie is bowling wicket-to-wicket at about 75 mph. Hales is fortunate an inside-edged cut doesn't got back onto his stumps. England managed to hit two fours during the powerplay.
Buttler comes out to join Hales with England approaching crisis point and still in the powerplay. Hales might have gone earlier in Badree's over, the umpire turning down an lbw shout. Didn't look much wrong with it.
Morgan top edges a slog-sweep straight to Lendl Simmons on the square-leg boundary.
New batsman Morgan, another left-hander, is off the mark with a couple run down to third-man via a controlled outside edge from the final delivery of Santokie's over.
Moeen departs in similar fashion to fellow left-hander Lumb, lbw after moving right across his stumps. This time the ball pitched, in fact it was a cutter that came back past Ali's heave. Not a great shot. He'd picked up a four off his pads the previous ball and was attempting to repeat the dose.
Ali comes in ahead of Wright at No 3. He is beaten outside off-stump by Badree first ball but gets off the mark and retains the strike with a single down the ground.
Santokie's a 29-year-old left-arm seamer from Jamaica with a low-slung action. Not that quick. Playing in his fourth T20 international today. A short-form specialist. He almost had Hales as well earlier the over, the right-hander driving square for a couple but only just short of a diving Smith at backward point.
Lumb goes right across his stumps and is struck on the pad by a full toss. It was adjacent with off-stump but Lumb isn't happy with the decision but replays don't appear to show an inside edge. No DRS in T20 internationals so he has to go.
Leg-spinner Badree claimed 3-17 opening the bowling in the first game and, no surprise, he again takes the first over for West Indies. Michael Lumb is off the mark first ball with a single to square-leg. Hales, who was stumped given Badree the charge on Sunday, cuts the first four of the day. He took it off the stumps but it was a well controlled shot. Bit of turn for Badree straight away.
We're using a different pitch from Sunday but it looks the same and Morgan said at the toss that he expects it to play the same. Good for batting and spin bowling, not so much fun for the seamers.

England have made two changes to their team, handing T20 international debuts to Ali and Parry at the expense of the injured Broad and Ben Stokes.
England's stand-in captain Morgan called correctly at the toss and has chosen to bat first.
England's 27-run defeat in the series opener on Sunday means they have now lost six of their last seven completed matches in the format. They are also without skipper Stuart Broad for the remainder of this three-match series due to a knee problem and have confirmed Ian Bell will replace Joe Root in the World T20 squad, which follows in Bangladesh after this series. Root has a broken thumb. It was West Indies' spinners - Samuel Badree, Marlon Samuels and Sunil Narine - who scuppered England's run chase on Sunday. The tourists picked only one frontline twirler, James Tredwell, but are sure to rectify that today, with Lancashire's Stephen Parry in line for his T20 international debut. Eoin Morgan's fitness (he's got an ongoing knee problem) and Luke Wright's poor form with the bat means there could be quite a few changes to the England line-up. If Morgan's not playing, it's not entirely clear who would captain the side. Bell probably. All will be revealed shortly.
