    Kulasekara to bowl the second last over. Duminy gets a single to start the over. Faf tries to run it down the third man, after trying to run it down the fine leg, does not improvise well. Another swings and a miss from Faf, a slower one from Kulasekara. Four, Faf drives it straight for four down the ground, the bowler can't stop it. Thisara Perera runs in to catch it, then it bounces awkwardly in front of him and goes past him for four. Faf takes a single to end the over.

    Faf drives it for a quick single to mid off, well run in the end. Mendis is brought back into the attack to bowl his final over. Another single, this time a wide from Mendis down leg. Another wide, Faf leaves it calmly again. A full toss driven to deep cover for a single. Duminy gets it past short fine leg and they run two, good running again. Duminy drives it through the leg side, kept down to a single by Senanayake in the deep. Four, Perera misfields in the deep and Faf gets another boundary.

    Kulasekara comes on to bowl the 17th over. Duminy drives it to deep midwicket for a single. Faf improvises and plays an awkward scoop that goes to third man, instead of fine leg, and it is a single in the end. A yorker from Kulasekara and Duminy digs it out to square leg for a single. Faf launches it through the covers for four, great shot from the captain. Another single for Faf to third man, gets an outside edge and this is his highest score in T20s. Duminy gets a full toss and swings, pulls it over midwicket and out of the ground for a big six. 133 for 2 after 17 overs.

    Senanayake continues, and Duminy gets a single from the first ball. A couple of runs, was risky in the beginning but well run in the end. After 16 overs SA are 119 for 2. Senanayake finishes his quota of overs for the day.

    Lakmal brought back into the attack. Faf edges it to deep square leg for a single. Six, Duminy this time, just clears his front leg and swings Lakmal over long on for a six. Then he pulls to deep square leg for a single. 9 runs from the over, 5 overs remaining.

    Senanayake starts his 3rd over and Faf works him for a single. Another single brings Faf on strike. A wide down leg, Faf leaves it calmly. A good over from Senanayake, just three from it.

    Dropped! Faf walks away from his stumps and pulls it to deep midwicket and Thirimanne drops Faf, that was a big chance. Faf drives through the covers for a single. It was going to be a good over, but Duminy sweeps it to the fine leg boundary for four, making it 8 runs from the over. After 13 overs, SA 100 for 2.

    Faf comes down the pitch and hits it down the ground for four, Dilshan the bowler. Then Faf drives and takes a single to long on. Six, another six, Faf peppering the straight boundary again. Big six to end the over.

    Mendis comes back into the attack, Duminy comes down the wicket and gets a single on the leg side. Three singles from the over and then Faf drives it straight down the ground for four. It went past the bowler, but he did not have a chance to stop that. Another good over for SA, 79 for 2 after 11.

    Over 10 SA 72/2 (du Plessis 40, Duminy 10)

    Dilshan will bowl the 10th over. Good running from this pair, two runs to Duminy who just pushes it into the leg side and runs hard. Another shot in the same area and Duminy gets four for it, there were two fielders there but the timing was really good and the ball goes for four.

    Mathews into the attack. Faf starts the over with a six, clean strike over midwicket. The slower ball from Mathews dispatched by Faf. A single down the ground, brings Duminy on strike against Mathews. Duminy tries to flick it off his pads, but only gets some pad on it for a leg bye. Faf swings and connects, another six. This time he goes straight down the ground and over, another strong shot from Faf. Big over for SA, 15 runs from it.

    de Kock wants a quick single to short fine leg, but is rightly sent back. Mendis gets the breakthrough! WICKET! Mendis bowls the quicker one and de Kock trapped in front of his stumps, and is out lbw. An easy decision for the umpire, JP Duminy walks out to join Faf. Duminy gets off the mark with a single down the ground. Faf fails to scoop it, gets a glove on it so can't be given lbw. A big shout from the bowler, but a good decision from the umpire. A couple of runs to end the over, SA 49 for 2 after 8 overs.

    Perera to Faf and Faf is hit in the box, the is down on the ground and getting some help from the physio. After a short break, Faf decides to keep playing and rotates strike with a single. de Kock gets a single to the sweeper on the off side, came down the wicket again and cut it square. Faf gets inside the line of the ball and flicks it to the deep square leg boundary for four. Faf gets another thick edge and it runs to the third man boundary for four.

    Last over of the power play and Faf works Senanayake down the ground for a couple of runs. A shout for lbw but de Kock is safe. Good over from Senanayake, SA 35 for 1 after 6 overs.

    Over 5 SA 30/1 (du Plessis 11, de Kock 14)

    Faf drives it wide of mid off for a single, another solid shot from him. de Kock plays a few dots and then tries to come down the wicket, but Lakmal bowls a bouncer and it is called wide for height. de Kock is frustrated after a few dots, but finds the gap through the covers and it goes for four. Then de Kock smashes it down the ground for another boundary, confident shots to end the over.

    Senanayake who bowled so well in the last T20, comes into the attack. Faf just steps out of his crease and flicks it with soft hands through the covers for four. Solid cover drive by the captain.

    A wide to start from Kulasekara. Faf is beaten by the ball that keeps low. de Kock hits it to long off but there is a fielder there. Faf needs a big score today, his average has not been good in this series. de Kock walks down the pitch and cuts it through point and cover for four to end the over.

    Suranga Lakmal to start from the other end. Good stop at backward point by Senanayake.de Kock slices it over the off side for a single. Two runs from the over.

    WICKET! First ball and gone! Kulasekara swings it in to Davids and is caught in front of his pads and is out lbw. What a start! Faf edges it and it goes between the slip and keeper for four. Faf angle it down the fine leg for three runs. After one over, SA are 7 for 1.
