Marsh is bowled having a big heave into the leg side.
Mixed bag from Bopara. There are a couple of wides to go with some nice changes of pace. Just ones and twos for Warner and Marsh.
Warner collects another four with a well-timed late cut, although Lumb should have cut it off on the boundary. Australia require 130 runs from 72 balls (required rate: 10.83).
Warner goes onto the attack against left-arm spinner Briggs, two fours - one on each side of the wicket - are followed by a six that only just clears a leaping Root on the long-on boundary.
First bowling change sees Dernbach into the attack for the final over of the powerplay. Warner clears wide long-on - not by much - for his second six. Dernbach is called wide for a too-short bouncer that clears Warner's head but responds well, just a single from the remainder of the over.
Finn continues into his third over. Warner is into his stride now, blasting the first delivery back over the bowler's head for six. Sweet strike. Marsh finally puts bat on ball, dropping a single into the leg side to get off the mark. Warner connects with only fresh air after giving himself some room, was a wild swipe, but keeps the strike courtesy of a leg-bye.
Warner counter-attacks against Broad, swatting his first boundary to mid-on and following up by giving himself some room to cut for another four behind square on the off side. Marsh plays-and-misses again, he's faced three deliveries and failed to lay a bat on one yet.
Pace and bounce from Finn as he beats new batsman Marsh twice in a row outside off-stump. Speed gun says 91 mph. Watson was fuming as he walked off but Warner was probably right to send him back, the ball went straight to Morgan, it would have been tight either way.
Watson is on his way after being sent back by Warner. Morgan swooped at backward point and hit the stumps direct to leave a diving Watson short.
New batsman Watson opens his account with a single run down to third-man. That was an excellent over from Broad, he's got rid of Thursday's hero and set the tone for his England team.
Finch hits Broad's first delivery over wide mid-off for four but is then undone by a quick, short ball that he top-edges to Wright, who is inside the circle at midwicket.
Just three singles - two for Warner, one for Finch - plus a leg bye from Finn's opening over. He also beat Finch for pace with a bouncer.
Finn is going to take the first over for England. Warner will take the first ball for Australia, Finch at the non-striker's end.
Ahmed finishes things off nicely for Australia, picking up the wickets of Buttler and Morgan and conceding eight runs from the over. He finishes with 3-25. Australia will be chasing a target of 196 for a 2-0 series win.
Morgan picks out Coulter-Nile on the midwicket fence. He didn't get hold of it.
That didn't last long. Buttler gives himself too much room and is bowled for a golden duck by a well-flighted leg break from Ahmed.
Hales, who has previously been out for 99 in this format, again falls just short of a century. Was a smart catch from Warner, judged it well as he moved forward. Buttler joins Morgan for the final over, which is going to be bowled by leg-spinner Ahmed.
Hales is denied a century by a tumbling catch from Warner at long-on.
Hales needs nine off the last 12 balls of the innings for the first T20 international century by an Englishman. He's on strike to Faulkner.
Morgan sends the first delivery of Coulter-Nile's over for six to midwicket. Hales gets a pair of twos, the second from a free-hit after Coulter-Nile oversteps, and then moves into the 90s with a cut for four, his 11th. A couple chipped into the off side from Morgan from the final ball makes it 19 from the over.
Morgan chops his first ball away for a couple for his first runs of the series. Just seven from Faulkner's over - plus the wicket of Wright. Good effort at this stage.
Johnson at mid-off jumps high to pluck a two-handed catch out of the air after Wright toe-ended a full toss.
Maxwell is firing in his off-spinner with a round-arm action. Wright joins the party with a straight six, plenty of loft on that one. He follows up with consecutive fours, the first cut away and the second a full toss bludgeoned to midwicket (Finch didn't seem to pick it up or he might have had a chance of a catch). Hales pulls another full toss for a couple to make it 18 runs from the over.
Wright is struggling for fluency against Johnson but rescues the over for England from the final ball, inside edging past the wicketkeeper for four.
Maxwell is on to bowl some off-spin. Both these batsmen have made 99 in a T20 international, no Englishman has scored a century yet. Wright running hard, turning one into two on a couple of occasions.
Hales squeezes a yorker from Coulter-Nile down to fine-leg (through his legs) for four. That was a good delivery, drifting in on the breeze (which has strengthened in the last few minutes).
This has been a nice spell from Ahmed, he's got good control for a leg-spinner. New batsman Wright is off the mark with a single into the off side.
England's opening stand ends with Lumb top-edged a slog sweep. The ball loops up and wicketkeeper Wade takes the catch running back. Ahmed's first international wicket.
Johnson back into the attack. Hales dispatches an off cutter over straight midwicket for six, prompting a verbal outburst for Johnson. The next one is helped past fine-leg (who is inside the circle) for four more. Hales is grinning away to himself. Lumb finishes the over with a superb shot, driven flat over mid-off for a one-bounce four.
Lumb is decidedly less comfortably against spin than pace. His main option is aiming to leg and, at the moment, he's not making much contact with Ahmed's leg breaks.
Hales completes a 34-ball half-century - his sixth in T20 internationals - with a couple to midwicket off Ahmed's bowling.
Both England batsmen end up at the same end after Hales edged a pull into a delicate area. Faulkner has all the time in the world to field off his own bowling and aim at the non-striker's stumps - but he misses and Lumb survives. Faulkner gets his attempted yorker wrong and Hales is able to work it past square-leg for four. A single down the ground takes Hales onto 49 and allows him to keep the strike
Lovely four from Hales, opening his wrists to find the gap in the off-side field. Decent start from Ahmed, Lumb failing to get hold of a couple of big swipes towards leg.

The fielding restrictions are relaxed but the runs keep coming for England. Watson's leg cutter is smashed to deep, deep midwicket (it landed in a hospitality box) by Lumb, his first six. Watson produces the first yorker of the innings later in the over, Hales digging it out for a single.
Coulter-Nile continues. Hales is mixing the sublime with the ugly; a top-edge loops over the wicketkeeper's head for four. Lumb comes down the track and muscles the ball just over mid-off for four. He adds another four, the 12th (and final) boundary of the power play, shovelled to midwicket via a hefty dose of bottom hand.
Hales is fortunate as an inside edged pull evades the stumps on the way for four. Another swipe into the leg side races away and then a majestic straight drive travels deep into the stand back over Faulkner's head. Four more, run behind point with an open bat face. A quick single to end the over, 19 runs from it, all from Hales, who keeps the strike.
There has been no seam or swing for any of the seamer so far. Big total should be on the cards for England. Faulkner into the attack now...
Coulter-Nile, who has played one previous T20 international, is into the attack. Another appeal for caught-behind off Hales is turned down, this time only wicketkeeper Wade was really interested. Lumb hits high into the leg side and it hangs in the air for an age... Maxwell almost gets under it but in the end can't even prevent four. Lumb fails to make contact with a pull at the final ball of the over, kept a bit low. Decent start from Coulter-Nile, up at 85mph.
Hales is up and running with a flick to the midwicket boundary. That was a good shot and not by any means a bad delivery, 90mph on off-stump. The next one disappears for four more to square-leg as well, this time too short from Johnson and Hales frees his arms to pull. Hales misses out on a full toss but keeps the strike with a tap-and-run single to mid-off.
Watson shares the new ball and is immediately punished for offering too much width, Lumb's cut racing away for the first boundary. There is another four later in the over for Lumb, this time pulled to midwicket, although it only reached the fence because of a misfield by Warner - much to the crowd's delight.
Lumb finds the middle of the bat but also straight to a fielder from each of Johnson's opening two deliveries. Johnson is on the spot, back-of-a-length straightaway. Lumb opens his, and England's, account with a mistimed pull that dribbles into the leg side for a single. Johnson responds with an 88mph bouncer, he was a bit lucky that wasn't called wide on height grounds. The over ends with umpire Rob Bailey turning down a caught-behind appeal after Hales flirted outside off-stump. There was a noise but replays suggest the umpire was correct.
Notts duo Hales and Lumb make their way to the middle. Lumb will be on strike to Johnson.
The sun is out but there is a fair breeze out in the middle. The pitch looks flat, if a touch on the slow side. The players are shaking hands and we're ready to go...
Joe Root made 90 not out off 49 balls during England's defeat at Southampton on Thursday - and also got a ball in the face for his troubles. He needed four stitches in his face but the good news is two-fold; his choir-boy looks have survived for the time being and he's absolutely fine today, happily chatting away to Sky Sports' Paul Allott. The gist of his comments: England are confident of squaring the series today.
Coulter-Nile is an interesting selection. He offers something in every area - a brilliant fielder and power hitter in the lower order, but his main role is his bowling. He sends it down at a lively pace and generates a bit of extra bounce from his 6ft 2in frame.
Michael Carberry, James Tredwell and Boyd Rankin - all part of England's squad for the five-match ODI series that follows - are the players to miss out today.

Both captains commented at the toss on how good the wicket looks, Stuart Broad was happy for England to be batting first, while George Bailey thinks the ball will 'nibble around' a bit for the seamers.
Australia have made one change; Nathan Colter-Nile in for Josh Hazlewood. England are unchanged.

Australia won the opening game of the two-match series by 39 runs in Southampton on Thursday, a result that was set up by Aaron Finch's 156 off 63 balls, including 11 fours and 14 sixes. England, who replied with a decent 209-6, need a win today to claim a share of the series.
