•

    Over 27: Ngoche 0-1-0-0-0-0

107-3 - Ngoche concedes just a single in his fifth over; he now has excellent figures of 1-16, albeit that several think the stumping should actually be classified as a run out. Canada need another 92 with seven wickets still in hand.

  •

    Over 26: Kamande 1-1-1-1-1-0

106-3 - This is all a little easy for this Canadian pair; another five singles are milked with the field well spread. The equation is now 93 needed from 24 overs at an asking rate of 3.88. Kamande has decided to end Obuya's short spell, bringing back off-spinner Ngoche instead.

  •

    Over 25: Obuya 1-2-1-1-2-2

101-3 - Canada reach three figures thanks to an offer that brings them nine runs. Bowler Obuya gives two of them away when he lost a weakly-hit drive roll between his legs and out into the deep. Where was the long barrier? Another mistake in the field, this time out at backward square leg, allows Hansra to come back for a second that also brings up the 50 stand.

  •

    Over 24: Kamande 1-1-1-0-1-0

92-3 - Four singles from Kamande's over - this fourth-wicket pairing have now put on 44 for Canada, who now require another 107 runs. It's a chase that looks simple enough, but you'd reckon there's still going to be a twist in the tale.

  •

    Over 23: Obuya 1-0-0-2-1-0w-1

88-3 - Collins Obuya comes into the attack. Known more as a batsman these days, the leggie was once a frontline bowler for his country. He in fact did so well in the 2003 World Cup that Warwickshire signed him as one of their overseas players. I seem to remember back then he bounced into the crease and whirled his arms away with real speed. Now he tentatively makes his way in and just rolls it out, almost as if he's just making sure that he pitches it somewhere remotely close to where he's aiming for.

  •

    Over 22: Kamande 0-1-0-0-4w-0-0

83-3 - Kamande gives Canada a bit of help with five wides - remember Kenya conceded a world record total of 46 extras in their Group A clash with Pakistan earlier in the tournament. Canade will be grateful for the bonus from the off-spinner, who started the delivery way down leg and just watched on as it drifted way out of the reach of the poor wicketkeeper.

  •

    Over 21: Odhiambo 1b-0-1-0-0-0

77-3 - Mishra dives to his right at point to save his side a single. Canada are stuck in the mud and this game is drifting along. It's one for the purists (and gamblers) but hasn't quite been of the highest standard.

  •

    Over 20: Kamande 1-0-0-1-0-0

75-3 - Good first over from the skipper; both these Canadian batsmen are having trouble hitting the good balls into gaps, meaning we are getting stuck with a lot of dots. The Canucks need another 124 runs to win and still have a batting powerplay up their sleeve.

  •

    Over 19: Odhiambo 1-0-0-0-0-0

73-3 - The impressive Odhiambo, who strikes a bit of a resemblance to former Zimbabwe bowler and superb singer Henry Olonga, concedes just a single as he once again gives neither right-hander much width to work with. Right, the captain has decided it's time to do a bit of work with the ball, Kamande coming into the attack in place of fellow offie Ngoche.

  •

    Over 18: Ngoche 1-0-4-0-0-0

72-3 - Hansra breaks the shackles with a lovely shot. He uses his feet to get down the track and then opens up his body to allow him to drive over the top of extra cover for four. The boundary not only boosts Canada's total but also results in Kenya skipper Kamande dropping a man out to sweep.

  •

    Over 17: Odhiambo 0-1-0-0-1-0

67-3 - Bagai twice hits the ball to backward point and quickly sets off for a run, only on each occasion to be told to get back by Hansra. The runs have dried up a little for Canada as they look to form a partnership of some substance.

  •

    Over 16: Ngoche 0-0-0-0-0-0

65-3 - The off-spinner rattles through a maiden (and I mean rattled, he's not keen to give the ball much air). Martin's sent in an e-mail to Rob.Lancaster@bskyb.com - he reckons there are seven teams, he's ruling out New Zealand, in with a chance of lifting the World Cup. He also thinks England should now open with Bell and Strauss, with Prior coming in at No.4.

  •

    Over 15: Odhiambo 0-0-0-0-0-4

65-3 - I was going to type about how impressed I've been with Odhiambo for his efforts to bowl as full and straight as possible. He then goes and ruins my brilliant analysis by bowling the last delivery of the over too wide, allowing Hansra to steer it away off the front foot to the third man boundary. Kenya have paid the price for having their third man far too square on such a slow pitch. The second powerplay is over as Canada need 134.

  •

    Over 14: Ngoche 0-0-0-0-1-0

61-3 - Hansra attempts to repeat his aerial drive against the off-spinner but gets too close to a flighted delivery from Ngoche, meaning he ends up trapping it against the ground with the toe of his bat. It's time for some DRINKS in Delhi as we get down towards the business end of this contest.

  •

    Over 13: Odhiambo 4-0-0-0-0-0

60-3 - Bagai smacks a delivery straight back where it came from, showing Odhiambo the makers' name on his bat as he drives down the ground for four. Perhaps Canada have decided that they should play a few shots in this run chase. They require another 139 for victory.

  •

    Over 12: Ngoche W(w)-0-0-0-4-0-4

56-3 - WICKET! - Oh dear, oh dear. Ngoche comes on to bowl and the off-spinner starts with a wide. However, it's a wide that gets a wicket as Gunasekera foolishly sets off after missing the ball, allowing wicketkeeper Ouma to whip off the bails. He looked set to make his ground but fell short at the first attempt and then couldn't get a foot back over the line in time. Hansra comes in at five and...DROPPED! An attempt to hit over the top only loops towards mid-on, where Waters inexplicably spills the ball. To rub salt in the wounds for the bowler, the next delivery is cracked away through cover point for four. So too is the final ball of an eventful over, this time Hansra timing a lofted drive well enough to comfortably clear the infield.

  •

    Over 11: Odhiambo 1-0-0-4-0-1

47-2 - Nehemiah Odhiambo comes on to send down the first over of the bowling powerplay. He nearly has a wicket with his second ball but Gunasekera is fortunate to see a mis-hit loop back over the bowler and short of mid-on. He does find the middle, however, when the seamer drifts onto his pads, allowing a wristy flick to pick up four more in front of square. The next delivery is also hit well but straight back towards the bowler, who can't hang on to the tough return chance. Eventful first over from Odhiambo.

  •

    Over 10: Otieno 0-1-0-0-W-4

41-2 - WICKET! - Surkari sells himself down the river trying to steal a run to mid-on. You don't take on a Kamande, though, as Kenya's skipper moves in quickly and hits the stumps. From the naked eye I thought the batsman might have still made it, but replays show he's comfortably short of his ground. At least Canada end the over by landing a blow straight back; Gunasekera hammering away a wide half volley.

  •

    Over 9: Odoyo 0-0-1-0-1-4

36-1 - SHOOOOOOTTTT! Surkari ends the over in style, rocking onto the back foot to pull away a rare short ball from Odoyo. Canada require another 163 runs to win this clash and continue their fine run of form against the Kenyans.

  •

    Over 8: Otieno 1-1-0-0-0-4

30-1 - Having been beaten outside off stump from the previous delivery, Gunasekera then responds by driving the next one straight back past the bowler for a welcome boundary. The man in charge of the music responds to the boundary by sticking on 'The Macarena' - I hope you are all now going through the dance routine, wherever you are.

  •

    Over 7: Odoyo 0-0-0-0-0-0

24-1 -The wicketkeeper comes up to the stumps for Odoyo, who is sending them down at a brisk medium pace. It's a maiden from the burly all-rounder despite Surkari trying to smack him over the top. David's a Canadian ex-pat now living in London. And he's worried: "Would be chuffed to have Canada get a win but anything close to 200 on this wicket has to be a tough score to chase down surely, doesn't it?" It's tough, but not impossible.

  •

    Over 6: Otieno 0-0-0-0-0-1

24-1 - Surkari gets a single off the last ball of the over, denying Otieno a maiden, having survived a referral for a loud leg before appeal. Kenya took an age to decide whether to ask or not, skipper Kamande eventually opting to take the gamble. There's no doubt the ball is going to hit the stumps but Surkari is a long, long way down the wicket. With too much doubt about the distance, the original decision stands.

  •

    Over 5: Odoyo 0-1-2-0-0-1

23-1 - Waters' needless throw gives away a single off the last ball - Kenya can't really afford to be so generous with runs when they've only got 198 to play with. Some e-mails after lunch - David (who feels vindicated after calling for Bopara to come in for Collingwood) believes the Associate Nations do have a place in the World Cup, because it helps them develop this wonderful game in their own countries. All well and good, but are they ever going to develop to full status? We have a Kenyan team here relying on veterans and a Canada team with roots all over the world.

  •

    Over 4: Otieno 6-4-0-W-0-0

19-1 - WICKET! - After a few sighters, it appears Cheema's now got his eye in. Otieno gives him one right in the slot to smash over the rope at mid-wicket for a superb maximum. Kenya react and change the field around, putting a man out there in the deep from fine leg. Obviously, then, the next ball is short enough for Cheema to pull it exactly where the fielder had moved from. However, the bowler has the last word when Cheema misses a straight ball trying to hit it back to Toronto.

  •

    Over 3: Odoyo 0-0-0-1-0-0

9-0 - Cheema's looking for the home-run hit but Odoyo twice has him striking out at clever slower deliveries bowled out the back of the hand. So far Canada's new-look opening pair have played plenty of shots without much reward.

  •

    Over 2: Otieno 0-0-0-0-0-0nb-0

8-0 - Otieno spoils a potential maiden with a no ball from the sixth delivery. Gunasekera, who had spent the rest of the over trying to pepper a drive through a packed offside field, including a play-and-miss, lets the bowler off the hook with the free hit, swinging and missing at a short-of-a-length delivery.

  •

    Over 1: Odoyo 1-0-0-2-4-0

7-0 - We're back underway and it's a new opening partnership for Canada, Gunasekera gets a single from the very first ball before Cheema gets a let-off when he's given out lbw straight away. Umpire Doctrove raised the finger but is forced to change his original decision due to a big inside edge. Cheema makes the most of the second chance to heave two out to long-off and then slice a drive over point for four. He's here for a good time, not a long one.

  •

    Break

So Canada will return for the second half of this Group A encounter needing 199 to register victory. Half-centuries from Mishra and Odoyo have given Kenya a chance after they at one stage had slipped to 26-4 at the start.

  •

    Over 50: Baidwan 1-1lb-1-0w-0-1-W

198 - WICKET! - Odoyo works away a single to deep square leg with one hand off the bat to go through to a very good 50 - it's his eighth in one-day internationals and has come up in just 60 deliveries. He has a chance to get his side beyond 200 from the final ball of the innings but despite using a baseball stance, he can do nothing with a Baidwan yorker that hits the base of middle. Kenya are all out for 198 in exactly 50 overs.

  •

    Over 49: Cheema 0-1-0-4-0-W

193-9 - WICKET! - Otieno gets four welcome runs in streaky fashion when an attempt to hit over mid-wicket results in a thick edge going to third man. When he does actually make decent contact with an ambitious slog, the ball only ends up in the hands of Hansra out at long-on. It was a good catch from the man in the deep too, as he had to judge the flight of the bal and his body position in relation to the boundary rope.

  •

    Over 48: Baidwan 1-1-0-0-1-0

188-8 - So far three overs of the powerplay have seen nine runs scored. Twice Baidwan is left with his head in his hands after just missing the stumps. Odoyo escapes when a full inswinger goes a fraction past his off stump before Otieno nearly swings himself off his feet at a slower delivery that floats past his fast-moving bat after gripping off the pitch and moving away from the tail-ender.

  •

    Over 47: Cheema 0-0-1-0-0-1

184-8 - Otieno eventually gets a single to get off strike but Odoyo can't take advantage, missing a Cheema full toss and then digging out a yorker (a delivery all the Canadian seamers have bowled impressively in the closing stages) before getting a single to make sure he'll be facing for the next over. There's three left now in this Kenya innings, can they reach 200?

  •

    Over 46: Baidwan 0w-1-1lb-0-1lb-0-0

183-8 - Canada use up their final referral when asking for an lbw decision against Odoyo. It didn't look a great request to the naked eye, and umpire Rauf's original decision is comfortably upheld as the inswinger was only going to clip the leg stump.

  •

    Over 45: Davison 1-0-0-0-1-6

179-8 - Odoyo knows he may not face too many balls now, particularly after seeing Elijah Otieno have an ugly-looking swipe at a full one outside off stump. The final delivery of the Davison over see the all-rounder take a step or two down the pitch to loft the spinner straight back over his head for six. And finally, Kenya are forced to take the batting powerplay. Baidwan will bowl the first over during the fielding restrictions.

  •

    Over 44: Osinde 1-0-0-1-0-W

171-8 - WICKET! - Odhiambo somehow gets his bat down in time to squeeze out a superb Osinde yorker...and gets a single for his efforts down to fine leg. Odoyo then thought he was a goner when an under-edge goes towards wicketkeeper Bagai. The batsman began to walk off but is quickly informed by the umpire that the chance had not carried. However, there is a fourth wicket for 'Our Henry' when he flattens Odhiambo's furniture with his final delivery. Osinde finishes with career-best figures of 4-26 from his 10.

  •

    Over 43: Davison W-2-0-0-0-1

169-7 - WICKET! - They'll be no top score for Mishra today as his battling little knock comes to a rather tame end. Coming down the pitch to Davison, the right-hander skews a straight drive off the outside half of his bat and straight to the fielder at cover. Nehemiah Odhiambo is the new man in at No.9 and he's off the mark straight away with a thick edge down to the third man boundary. The tail-ender also then nicks the strike with a single off the last.

  •

    Over 42: Osinde 0w-0-0-1-0-1-1

166-6 - Mishra gets through to a well-constructed 50 with a steer down to third man. It's his fourth in ODI cricket and he has a highest score of 66. Osinde had started the over with the widest of wides and then finishes it off with a full toss that forces the sizeable presence of Rao into a diving stop at mid-wicket. The big man looks to have hurt himself in the process, but he did manage to save at least a run for his team.

  •

    Over 41: Cheema 1-4-0-0-2

162-6 - Two things you definitely don't want to feed: Chimpanzees at a safari park and Thomas Odoyo's cover drive. Kenya are not learning the lesson with the latter, Cheema throwing one up outside off to allow the all-rounder to free his arms and hammer another four through the off side. Another shoddy bit of work allows the big man to get two more, denying Mishra the strike to reach his half-century.

  •

    Over 40: Rao 1-1-4-1-1-0

155-6 - Osinde manages to just get down and restrict a delicate Mishra sweep to a single. However the next ball does go to the fence, Odoyo taking on a pitched up googly and slog-sweeping it away over mid-wicket, perfectly in between the two fielders patrolling the deep. The boundary helps bring eight from the over and now Kenya are picking up the pace nicely. Rao, meanwhile, finishes with figures of 1-36 from his 10 overs.

  •

    Over 39: Cheema 0-4-0-1-0-0

147-6 - Odoyo gets one in the slot to drive away through cover in glorious fashion, proving you don't have to use brute force to get the ball to the boundary. There's no doubting Thomas' pedigree with the bat and he could carry Kenya up towards 200 and beyond if he can stay in.

  •

    Over 38: Rao 0-0-0-0-1-1

142-6 - Rao's now reeled off nine overs at a cost of just 28 runs, as well as picking up the wicket of Jimmy Kamande. Canada are going to change the pace a little as Rizwan Cheema (who has so far taken 1-11 from his five overs) comes back into the attack.

  •

    Over 37: Davison 1-1-0-2-1-0

140-6 - Again there's a fumble out in the deep, the man at deep point making a real mess of a straightforward stop to give away another run. Davison is not best impressed with the efforts of his team-mate and is still giving him daggers at the end of the over. This pair have now put on 31 from 46 balls for Kenya - surely that's good enough to take the powerplay?

  •

    Over 36: Rao 0-1-0-0-1-1

135-6 - Here's a question to debate at the end of a Rao over that leaks three singles - should we be watching a match between two Associate Nations during a World Cup? The ICC have already said that the next tournament will have just 10 teams, meaning four less minnows than we have in 2011.

  •

    Over 35: Desai 0-0-0-4-0-0

132-6 - Odoyo uses his feet brilliantly after playing out three dot balls (one of which never got above shin height as it went through to the wicketkeeper) to loft Desai over cover for a one-bounce four. Bagai appeals for a catch off the final ball of the over but it must have flicked the pad. Either way, the appeal seemed to put the umpire off giving a wide as it drifted down leg.

  •

    Over 34: Rao 0-0-1-0-0-0

128-6 - Mishra twice hits nice shots straight at fielders in the cover ring and then has an almighty slash at the final ball of the over, though he doesn't make any contact. Kenya still have the (dreaded) batting powerplay to come - perhaps these two would be the best to utilise it.

  •

    Over 33: Desai 1-1-1-1-2-0

127-6 - Parth Desai - not to be confused with Darth Vader - comes back on after just the one expensive over earlier in the day. His comeback effort sees six conceded, though again Canada give away an extra run in the field when Hansra makes a mess of a stop out in the deep. Time for some DRINKS in Delhi...I'll get the kettle on.

  •

    Over 32: Rao 1-1-0-0-3-1

121-6 - Canada have a bit of a mare out in the deep. Surkari dives to stop Odoyo's well-timed pull shot but then deflects the ball away to allow the two Kenyans to come back for a comfortable second..and then there's an overthrow to make it three! The throw from the deep hits the stumps (Canada's first direct hit when they needed it the least) and deflects away towards long-off for a bonus.

  •

    Over 31: Baidwan 0-4-0-1-0-0

115-6 - Osinde's off after a one-over spell as Baidwan comes back on. Odoyo helps a leg-side delivery on its way down towards the boundary backward of square leg, the ball rolling into the rope as Balaji Rao rolls forward in an attempt (of sorts) to stop it. A single follows to backward point, though a better throw from the fielder and Mishra would have been struggling.

  •

    Over 30: Rao 1-W-0-0-0-1

110-6 - WICKET! - Rao gets his man as Kamande's attempt to cut a short ball results in a thin edge through to wicketkeeper Bagai. That's the demise of Kenya's captain, which, it must be said, was always on the cards against the leggie, and also the end of a useful sixth-wicket stand worth 52 in just over 14 overs. Thomas Odoyo is the new man at eight and his first ball is a googly; he picks it and props forward in defence. His first run arrives off the last delivery of the over, courtesy of a comfortable flick out towards deep mid-wicket.

  •

    Over 29: Osinde 0-4-0-0-0-0

108-5 - Kamande is quickly on to a short ball from Osinde, hammering it away with a pull stroke that goes through mid-wicket. The bowler responds with a few words of advice for the Kenya captain - is there a bit of a feud between these two? Nothing but the well-struck boundary from the over.

  •

    Over 28: Rao 0-0-1-1-0-4w-1

104-5 - Kamande keeps playing and missing - perhaps we could put a bell in the ball to help him out? However, he's given a bit of help by Rao when a tossed up ball outside leg doesn't turn quite enough and runs away past both batsman and wicketkeeper for four wides. That's eight runs from the over with five of them being extras - Canada can't afford to give away runs here, they've not managed a total of above 150 in this World Cup so far. Perhaps recognising the need to end this alliance, Bagai is bringing 'Our Henry' back into the attack.

  •

    Over 27: Davison 1-4-1-0-0-1

96-5 - The angle from around the wicket allows Mishra - who has played well since coming in, looking the most comfortable of all the Kenyan batsmen on this slow surface - to sweep Davison away past the diving Osinde (who can't help but be positioned where the ball goes) at short fine leg. Kamande keeps the strike, though, when he uses the sweep shot to get a single.

  •

    Over 26: Rao 1-0-0-0-1-0

89-5 - You can't help but like Balaji Rao - he's the type of wily old spinner that we've all come up against in club cricket. There's the odd long hop, but then he produces one that pitches perfectly and spins past the outside edge. Kamande is beaten in this over; Kenya's captain is having real problems getting the leggie away and has now faced 42 balls for his 14 runs.

  •

    Over 25: Davison 1-0-1-0-1-0

87-5 - Davison starts off over the wicket but soon switches to around. There's not too much flight from a man that I believe coaches spinners for a living back in Australia. He nearly didn't play for Canada in this World Cup at all, after falling out with the selectors over the make-up of the 15-man squad.

  •

    Over 24: Rao 0-1-0-0-1-1

83-5 - Canada push the field back for the final two balls of Rao's second over, allowing both batsmen to get singles with mis-hits to leg that mid-on would have stopped, had he not been pushed back on the rope. The Canadians seem to be taking their foot off the gas as John Davison comes into the attack in place of Cheema.

  •

    Over 23: Cheema 1-1-1-0-0-0

81-5 - There's been some ambitious running from the Kenyans (which shouldn't come as a huge surprise), with Mishra the latest to take on a fielder inside the circle. A direct hit, something Canada haven't managed yet, and he would have been gone. The last meeting of these two saw Canada secure a three-wicket win in a low-scoring contest in the Netherlands. It seems we could be on course for something similar today.

  •

    Over 22: Rao 0-1-0-0-0-0

78-5 - After a false start, Rao starts off with two short balls. Mishra pulls the second one of them away to the fielder at deep mid-wicket, putting Kamande on strike. Kenya's skipper quickly finds out that the experienced leggie was just warming up with those long hops. Canada pop a slip in place and the fielder is nearly in action when Kamande tries to cut the last ball of the over. This sixth-wicket stand is now the highest so far today.

  •

    Ove 21: 0-0-0-4-0-0

77-5 - An attempted yorker from Cheema goes wrong, allowing Kenya captain Kamande to drive the low full toss away past a diving mid-on fielder for another boundary, the eighth of the innings so far (we've also had a six). Canada are going to make a change now, and it is the sizeable unit of Rao who is coming on.

  •

    Over 20: Hansra 4-2-0-0-1-1

73-5 - Mishra goes after a tossed up delivery from Hansra, using the slog-sweep nicely to get four through mid-wicket. Undeterred, the bowler flights the next one up, too. Mishra drives this time, getting two runs as Osinde makes a half stop at cover. With two singles following, Kenya enjoy a much more productive over. Phil has been in touch - 'I don't know if you've heard, but I'm kind of a big deal. I have many leather bound books.' Thanks Phil, or should we call you Ron?

  •

    Over 19: Cheema 0-0-0-0-0-0

65-5 - No amount of swinging (and missing) from Kamande can stop Cheema working his way through a maiden. Kenya knew this pitch wasn't going to be full of runs before play started, but already they must have knocked down the total they may have had in mind. 180 would make a good game.

  •

    Over 18: Hansra 0-0-0-1-0-1

65-5 - Surprisingly, we're yet to see leg spinner Balaji Rao have a bowl for Canada. You get the feeling the men in red don't know whether to stick or twist - do they try and bowl the Kenyans out quickly or rattle through some overs whilst a rebuilding job is in hand? If you have any thoughts on today's match, e-mail them to Rob.Lancaster@bskyb.com.

  •

    Over 17: Cheema 1-0-0-0-0-0

63-5 - Kenya seem to think they can take liberties with Cheema's bowling. Mishra nearly chops on the first ball of the over, resulting in a single to third man, and then Kamande seems desperate to hit on the up, twice coming close to prodding balls back to the bowler.

  •

    Over 16: Hansra 1-4-0-0-0-0

62-5 - Off-spinner Jimmy Hansra comes into the attack with the bowling powerplay now over. Mishra sweeps his first ball for a single, it would have been more but Osinde goes down in installments at short fine leg to make the stop, and then Jimmy Kamande gets off the mark with a thick-edged drive that runs away to the third man fence. Kenya desperately need a partnership.

  •

    Over 15: Cheema 0-0-1-0-2-W

57-5 - WICKET! - Osinde gets a well-earned rest as Rizwan Cheema comes on with his medium-pacers. There's a loud appeal for lbw from his very first delivery, though umpire Doctrove says 'not out'. After a quick consultation, Canada ask for a review (the 90th of the tournament). Bad move from the Canucks though; it always looked a dubious shout and replays show it was missing leg stick. The 91st review is not long in coming - Tikolo asking for a reprieve after being given out lbw. The batsman feels there's an inside edge, but the footage suggests it might have hit pad first. No doubt about where the delivery was going either, so Tikolo is on his way for just 12.

    Over 14: Baidwan 0-1-1-4-0-0

54-4 - Tikolo shows that while age may have slowed him down a little, there's still some runs in his bat. The veteran finds the gap beautifully when driving on the up, beating two diving fielders at cover and mid-off. More e-mails! Peter can't get Ron Burgundy out of his head after I mentioned the jazz flute earlier. John, meanwhile, wants to know what 'SR' means on the bowling figures: Strike rate (average number of balls for each wicket).

  •

    Over 13: Osinde 0-0-0-1-1-0

48-4 - Kenya should have known all about 'Our Henry' - his best ever figures were 4-33 against the African nation. The lowest total at this venue is 115, posted by the Netherlands against the West Indies earlier in this tournament. India's lowest here is the 144 they managed against Pakistan in 2005.

  •

    Over 12: Baidwan 0-0-W-4-0-1

46-4 - WICKET! - Obuya's gone, playing a terrible-looking shot at a straight ball from Baidwan. Having batted so well, he's attempted an ugly hack across the line to be comprehensively bowled for 31. Tanmay Mishra is the new man at six and he gets a gift from Baidwan to get off the mark straight away, a full toss being flicked away through mid-wicket for four. He also keeps the strike with a single down to third man off the last delivery of the over.

  •

    Over 11: Osinde 0w-0-1-0-1-0-1

41-3 - Osinde continues (is there a fear that the big man may not be able to come back for a second spell?) but it's getting a little more wayward now. Another wide is followed by a full toss that Tikolo drives too close to mid-off. Despite the radar having some issues, the over still only costs Henry four runs.

  •

    Over 10: Baidwan 0-1-0-1-1-0

37-3 - Obuya clips the returning Baidwan, who has been summoned back into the attack after an expensive over from Desai, to mid-wicket and then sets off a single, perhaps not realising that the fielder, Desai, is left-handed. In the end, Collins was home comfortably enough at the bowler's end, even if there had been a direct hit. There's three singles off the final over of the mandatory powerplay - Canada are going straight into the bowling one now.

  •

    Over 9: Osinde 2-0-0-0w-0-0-0

34-3 - Tikolo - who has played in every one of Kenya's 27 World Cup games - opens his account for the day with a nice flick off his front pad for a couple of runs through mid-wicket. Our Henry, labouring a little as every round goes by, also helps out the total with a wide that Tikolo wouldn't have been able to hit with a barge pole.

  •

    Over 8: Desai 0-4-0-0-6-0

31-3 - Parth Desai comes into the attack. He's a slow left-arm spinner who is playing his first match of the tournament. His first ball beats Collins Obuya, who then responds by coming down the pitch to the next one, lofting a drive way over the head of mid-off for the shot of the day so far...until he does the same again at the end of the over, only this time getting underneath it enough to crack it over the rope for a maximum. Kenya have 31 runs - Collins Obuya has 27 of them.

  •

    Over 7: Osinde 0-0-1-3-0-W

21-3 - WICKET! - 'Our Henry' is knocking them out in Delhi! Having been pulled away for three runs by Collins Obuya after testing the middle of the pitch, the seamer goes back to pitching it up. The tactics work perfectly as David Obuya lunges forward in defence, only to get a nick through to wicketkeeper Bagai. Poor technique is costing Kenya here as the evergreen Steve Tikolo comes to the crease with his team in trouble.

  •

    Over 6: Baidwan 4-0-1-0-1-4

17-2 - The music used during the break between the fifth and sixth over reminded me of Ron Burgundy's jazz flute number in the film 'Anchorman'. It's still Canada's seamers calling the tune when the action gets back underway though; Baidwan finds the outside edge of Collins Obuya's bat but the ball falls just short of second slip, who can't even stop it sneaking away for a much-needed Kenyan boundary. The same batsman finds the fence again to finish the over, though this time it's with much more authority as he lofts a full ball wide of mid-on.

  •

    Over 5: Osinde 0-0-0-0-W-0

7-2 - WICKET! - Waters twice cuts wide deliveries from Osinde straight at point before having a fancy-looking drive at a full 'un that results in him making contact with nothing but fresh air. He also fails to use the bat for the next one, meaning a leg-side delivery clips his front pad and goes on to his stumps, sending him packing for just two. As Sanjay Manjrekar so beautifully says on commentary 'the off stump has now gone to sleep' as it lays flat on the ground.

  •

    Over 4: Baidwan 0-0-0-2-1-1

7-1 - Baidwan - who took three wickets in the loss to Pakistan last time out for Canada - continues to impress. He beats Obuya's outside edge, leading to the batsman deciding to come down the wicket. A thick edge runs away through mid-wicket for two runs before both Kenyans get singles off the final two balls of the fourth over. Canada might not be too worried to have lost the toss now.

  •

    Over 3: Osinde 1-1-0-0-0-1

3-1 - Both batsmen get off the mark with singles off Osinde, who is certainly getting the new white ball to do a bit early doors. One delivery to Obuya ducks back in off the seam and doesn't miss off stump by too much. Khalid is the first (and possibly only) person to e-mail in. He's fancying a Canada win today and, on the KP situation, feels Bell is the man to take over at the top of the order.

  •

    Over 2: Baidwan 0-0-0-0-0-0

0-1 - Harvir Baidwan shares the new ball. He's brisk enough (around 75-78mph) but capable of getting it to swing both ways, as he shows Kenya opener Seren Waters. It's a fine start for the Canadians, who also have two frontline spinners in their XI.

  •

    Over 1: Osinde 0-W-0-0-0-0

0-1 - WICKET! - It's Henry Osinde to open the bowling...eventually. We're just about all set until the big unit realises he's running into the wind, forcing everyone to switch around so he can have the breeze behind him. The change of ends works a treat too, as Osinde takes a wicket with his second ball. Maurice Ouma can't resist an away swinger, poking his bat at it and providing a simple catch for second slip. Collins Obuya sees out the rest of the over, despite sparring at the last ball. After an over I can tell you this - there's not a lot of life in this pitch. Slow and low is an understatement.

Good anthems from both countries, but 'Rally Round the West Indies' is still comfortably my favourite, even if it's technically not the Windies' 'national' song. Right, time for the action to get started here in Delhi.

    Feedback

Remember, you can have your say on the game here by sending in feedback. Today's e-mail address to get in touch with is Rob.Lancaster@bskyb.com. I welcome all thoughts on Kenya v Canada, as well as the World Cup in general. With KP going home, who should open for England? What will Christmas dinner be like in the Hussey household if Mike takes David's place in Australia's team?

  •

Canada have won the last four meetings of these two nations, although Kenya did come out on top when they went head-to-head in the last two World Cups. We're nearly underway at the Feroz Shah Kotla...time for the national anthems.

  • Toss

Kenya captain Jimmy Kimande has called 'heads'...and heads it is! The skipper quickly confirms that Kenya will bat first on what looks a very slow, low deck. Remember that neither nation has managed to get close to topping 200 in this tournament so far.

Hello and welcome to over-by-over coverage from the massive Group A clash between Canada and Kenya in Delhi - a game that means someone's '0' has to go (even if it's rained off).
