7-1 - Wow! Wicket! Australia now under even more pressure. Aamer follows up a bouncer, called wide, with one on a good length outside off which Warner slashes to point. This is a great start to the innings for Pakistan and skipper Afridi is geeing up his men. Shane Watson doesn't appear to be feeling the pressure with a fluent stroke for four. Umpire Doctrove has given the Aussies a seventh delivery in the opening over, luckily for him it's a dot ball.
David Warner and Shane Watson walk out into the middle, it'll be interesting to see how the Aussies go under pressure for the first time in this tournament.
That's an excellent score, even if the pitch doesn't look quite as bad as it was made out to be before the start. The Akmal brothers batted quite brilliantly, and Pakistan will be big favourites to defend this, especially with the wily spinners in their armoury. Nevertheless Australia have stood up to every challenge thrown at them so far, so we might just have a close game here. Stay tuned.
191-6 - WICKETS! Tait has probably been the pick of the bowlers so far, and produces a good final over. The key has been his change of pace, which leaves the batsmen swishing at deliveries on several occasions. Every time they miss though, they run, which results in a couple of byes but also the run-out of Razzaq off a wide. Akmal manages to slice a low full toss over point for a couple, but hits the final ball straight back to Tait. Misbah-ul-Haq is already running, so he's run out by Tait for nought off zero deliveries.
184-4 - David Hussey has had two successful overs so he returns, but Abdul Razzaq has been sent up the order and he gets hold of one to deposit it over long-on for six. Things are really falling apart for Australia now, to the extent that they concede an overthrow as things get messy. Pakistan have more than they would have hoped for at the start and still an over to come.
169-4 - What a talented young cricketer this man is. My goodness. Johnson returns but is quite simply taken to the cleaners by Akmal, who continues to target the legside with great success. Again he clears the front leg and this time he whacks the ball over midwicket. Johnson beats him with a slower ball, but such is the way of the wind that Haddin doesn't stop it and Pakistan get four byes. Johnson goes for the bouncer, but Akmal is equal to the task, hooking over backward square leg for six. And a huge hit over cow corner makes it 24 from the over.
145-4 - This is superb from Akmal, who is showing invention, timing and fearlessness. The first ball is timing as he just clears his front leg and hits a quite reasonable delivery over cow corner for six and the second is invention as a deft dab past short fine leg brings four. Then fearlessness enters the equation as he runs down the pitch, takes on a bouncer and pulls away awkwardly for two wide of long-on. WICKET! Australia decide to gang up on Akmal's partner Latif, and it works as he gets bounced out, looping the ball to mid-off who'd come up in the circle.
132-3 - Pace off the ball seems to be working well for Australia now, so Michael Clarke brings himself on. That's slightly ominous because Pakistan have a string of good spin bowlers. Latif top-edges his first ball from Clarke and is fortunate that it drops in a vacant area at midwicket, but he hammers the second one over midwicket for a huge six. A slightly awkward shot off the final ball clears extra cover and runs away for four. We have a real game on our hands here, people.
118-3 - WICKET! Afridi's been looking to get going, but he perishes from his first big swing, edging one straight up in the air. Three fielders converge on the ball before Haddin takes the catch, clashing with a confounded Watson in the process. There's just a hint that Pakistan could implode here, but as long as Umar Akmal is around it's all good. Khalid Latif is the man keeping him company.
113-2 - Haddin can only manage a wry smile as a super quick Tait attempted yorker swings into Akmal, goes through his legs and evades the keeper on its way to the boundary for four byes. Haddin would have sighted that late and with Tait's pace had little chance. It's a top over from Tait, who varies his pace cleverly, but those four byes keep Pakistan ticking.
105-2 - These two batsmen smashed South Africa's spinners out of the attack on Monday, which might be why Clarke returns to Nannes at this point in time. Afridi and Akmal keep it sensible, although Akmal's scoop is pretty cheeky. He doesn't quite time it but still gets it past short fine leg for a couple. At this rate Pakistan will finish with a bit more than 160, which would be a pretty useful total. 170 would make them feel much safer though, especially with Messrs Duckworth and Lewis lingering alongside the clouds.
97-1 - WICKET! Butt has got away with hitting quite a few balls in the air, but this time Warner is on the end of it. A slog sweep to the legside was hit as much in hope as anything and Warner ran around from deep midwicket to take the catch. That wicket doesn't stop Umar Akmal though, because he just plants his front leg out of the way and smears the next ball through wide midwicket for four. Deep midwicket wasn't far from where it went but couldn't get there because he hit it so well. Shahid Afridi has joined the younger Akmal brother at the crease, and is content with a couple of singles to start with.
89-1 - David Hussey is thrown the ball, and he rockets through an over so quickly that the batsmen are left wondering whether it ever happened. Four singles result as Hussey fires the ball in with a fairly flat trajectory.
85-1 - WICKET! A good innings comes to an end because of a very good catch, much to Australia's relief. Warner was the man at deep cover and Akmal smashed one out towards him, and the ball was really traveling as the fielder dived forward and to his right to take it on the fly. Kamran is replaced by his brother Umar Akmal, but at the halfway stage Pakistan are still sitting pretty.
81-0 - Watson has switched ends after his tiff with Doctrove, but this won't make him happy! Akmal clears his front leg and absolutely smashes him back over his head for six. The ball travels 96 metres and lands up in ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat's lap in the presidential suite. Two deliveries later Watson is still shaking his head, partially because Akmal gets a bit lucky as he mishits wide of long-on. In fact Watson's lost the plot, because when Akmal comes back on strike he's served a full toss which he caresses over for four, with exquisite timing and placement. He then brings up his fifty (32 balls, 6x4s, 2x6s) with a cut over point for four more. Australia look rattled.
63-0 - Johnson returns after a brief break and a change of ends, and his first ball is short and wide and helped over the vacant slip region for four by Butt. A single to third man brings Akmal on strike, and he has the balls to take on mid-on after the man is brought up into the circle. He doesn't get hold of it completely but does clear the man and grab a couple. Pakistan mean business, and we should have a good match on our hands.
55-0 - Pakistan are clearly eager to take Steven Smith on, because there's an array of attacking shots straight away. Butt lifts the first one to backward square leg but the ball lands short of the fielder, and Akmal cuts hard at the second and gets an underedge through Haddin's legs for a couple. Then he goes down the pitch and gets a thick edge over short third man for four, before charging the legspinner again to strike him over long-off for six. That's a great statement of intent, and also a show that they won't be cowed by Australia.
40-0 - Watson hasn't bowled a huge amount in this tournament - usually just an over or two per game - but is a handy man to have on a moist day like this. He looks to dig the ball in but Butt uses his feet well to clear the infield on both sides of the wicket. A couple of singles and a wide - which was heavily disputed by Watson - make it eight from the over, so Pakistan have made a very handy start here. It's difficult to know, but I would venture 140-150 as a decent total in these conditions.
32-0 - Mitchell Johnson replaces Nannes, and appears to have Butt caught behind off his second ball. Yet none of the Australians appealed, and it looks as if Ian Gould began to raise his finger before realising there wasn't an appeal, and consequently his hand went to his head to make out that he needed to keep his hat on in the wind. Interesting times. Butt allows two good balls but then leaps down the wicket to smear one over point for four. Gould allows a seventh delivery for some reason, but it doesn't make a difference because it's a dot ball.
27-0 - Billy Doctrove continues to be lenient on Tait in terms of short-ball wides, but the umpire can't save him when he pitches it up and Butt laces back-to-back boundaries through the offside. Both were there to be hit, and Butt placed emphasis on timing rather than power and found gaps in the field as a result. Tait then bowls a poor short ball to Akmal who is able to pull it away very fine for another boundary. Advantage Pakistan after four overs then.
14-0 - Akmal allows himself a couple more sighters, then carves a straight ball over cover for four. He hit that very nicely indeed, and his next shot is even better as he drives straight down the ground for four more, timing it sweetly. Then he gives himself room and hits past mid-on for a couple more. Ian Chappell rightly pointed out that Pakistan can't allow Australia to dictate terms to them, but of course there's a fine line between bravado and idiocy. For the moment Akmal seems to be treading it cleverly.
3-0 - Salman Butt gets Pakistan up and running as he guides a wide delivery to second slip's left. It ran safely along the ground but the fielder couldn't stop it dead so the batsmen take a run. Akmal then lifts a wide ball aerially towards third man but the ball drops short of the fielder, but it's clear that Tait is eager to use the short ball. He does so until he finally has one called wide, having been lucky to get away with two others.
0-0 - There's swing for Dirk nannes up front, which is no surprise at all. Although it's much brighter than it was half an hour ago there's still plenty of moisture in the air, and Kamran Akmal recognises the threat and thus sees out a maiden.
It's still pretty overcast and Simon Doull says batting will be very difficult today. So it's a whole different ballgame to what we've seen so far in St Lucia - batsmen will need to exercise some caution and play quite sensibly.

Australia have won the toss and elected to bowl first. Michael Clarke says the wicket looks a little bit sticky and expects there to be something for the bowlers. Of course Duckworth-Lewis will also be in the front of his mind because it tends to favour the side batting second in Twenty20.
Unless it rains again, we'll have a 16:00 GMT start, with the toss to take place shortly.
The toss should be happening now, but since that decision was made it's rained again. And so the wait for a lengthy break in the weather goes on. Of course there's plenty of time available, because we could play a Five5 that finishes at 20:30 GMT. Or at least that's how I understand it. If it's a washout then Australia go through because they've won more matches in the tournament. Nobody could claim that's unfair, but equally no-one would like to see it happen.
Well, no sooner had the covers come off than it started raining again. We've got some pictures from the ground and it looks rather gloomy - those clouds are pretty set. We should get the odd window - and in fact it's just stopped raining as I type - but this looks like it will be a stop-start affair. Let's hope that isn't the case.

to over-by-over coverage of the World Twenty20 semi-final. Yesterday's clash was disappointingly one-sided and the formbook suggests today's will be no different. So dominant have Australia been that not one of their opponents in the competition have batted out 20 overs. Twenty overs! Naturally, everyone who isn't an Australia fan will be hoping that the good Pakistan will turn up today, and not the shambolic one.
