Leicester City aim to capitalise on promotion to the Premier League and reinforce ties with the local community.

Leicester City’s Community Trust supports a range initiatives that aim to be of benefit throughout the local area.

From working on the social inclusion of disabled players to providing opportunities for gifted and talented footballers the Foxes say they are committed to community impact.

The newly-promoted club is planning a considerable expansion of its programme in partnership with the Premier League, but current initiatives include:

Junior Foxes Education Project – An initiative which empowers Year 11 students to mentor younger students in healthy living and PE lessons

Futsal Scholarship Scheme – A training scheme which sees 14 Futsal Scholars gain qualifications as well as representing the club in a national league

Further Education Disability Project - Training for 14 special needs students in partnership with South Leicestershire College

Filbert’s Friends – A fundamental coaching programme for 4 to 6-year-olds

Holiday Courses - After school football clubs and school holiday initiatives

Girls Centre of Excellence - Performance level coaching for gifted and talented females
