Tyson Fury has hired his most recent opponent Steve Cunningham as a sparring partner ahead of September's Sky Box Office meeting with David Haye.
Cunningham has followed a similar path to Haye from cruiserweight world champion to the heavyweight division and is the same height as the Londoner.
Fury stopped the American in April, but not before Cunningham had flattened him with the kind of overhand right Haye has made a trademark during his career.
And Fury, who already has Michael Sprott and Dillian Whyte in his training camp, will work with Cunningham between now and his September 28 date with Haye in Manchester.
The fighter's uncle and trainer Peter Fury confirmed the news on the Team Fury website and also revealed he is attempting to recruit another sparring partner in Eddie Chambers.
American Chambers has been in with triple world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and recently made his debut at cruiserweight.
