Online bookmaker Sky Bet make George Groves 6/4 to inflict revenge on Carl Froch with a win in their re-match on May 31, 2014.

IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion Froch defended his titles in controversial fashion when the pair went toe-to-toe in November.

'The Cobra' forced a ninth-round stoppage but referee Howard Foster was widely criticised for seemingly waving the bout off too softly, much to Groves' disgust.

As the champion, Froch is 8/15 favourite to win the re-match, but Groves' style proved difficult for the 36-year-old to cope with and punters are keen on 'Saint' George winning the re-match.

Sky Bet trader Ned Brooker said: "Both fans and punters have got the fight they were hoping for and we're certainly delighted given the first instalment attracted the highest stakes we've ever seen on a bout.

"When we opened the betting on a potential re-match in the aftermath of the first contest Groves was available at 13/8.

"However, our punters immediately got on the underdog and, now that the fight has been confirmed, the odds are even closer."

Groves went off as 100/30 with Sky Bet for the first fight, but is significantly shorter on this occasion, while Froch remains odds-on for the re-match having been 1/4.
