Glenn McCrory says a rematch between new IBF super-middleweight champion James DeGale and George Groves may be on the cards - and believes this time it could be a world unification fight.
DeGale made history when he became the first British Olympic gold medallist to claim a world title, defeating Andre Dirrell for the IBF belt at the Agganis Arena in Boston.
Groves, who handed DeGale his one and only career defeat back in 2011, will take on Badou Jack for the WBC super-middleweight title, with a date for that fight yet to be announced.
And McCrory has high hopes that could lead to another clash between the British pair, though he concedes any fight rests on how Groves fares in his upcoming title fight.
"A DeGale-Groves unification fight would be massive. But let's not get carried away, George has still got to go in there and do the business. James has gone, done it and shown George what he has got to go and do," he said.
"George would have grown by seeing James win here tonight. Having seen James win a world title, George is bound to think he is capable of beating him again and becoming a double world champion.
"So that's going to lift him for the fight with Badou Jack."

Carl Froch, however, has reservations over whether his old adversary Groves will have enough to defeat Jack in order to set up a potential unification clash with DeGale.
"George seems to fade away in the later rounds and he seems a little big at the weight. He takes a lot of weight off the week before the fight, which is never good and will affect you down the stretch," he said.
"If George is struggling for pace in the later rounds against Jack, he could struggle to get that decision."
