Carl Froch is not interested in fighting James DeGale even if he brings a world title back to Britain.
The former IBF super-middleweight champion's old title is on the line when the Londoner takes on Andre Dirrell in Boston, USA, this Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Froch vacated the title back in February with DeGale as the mandatory challenger but has not boxed for almost a year - since the rematch win over George Groves at Wembley.
Promoter, Eddie Hearn recently suggested that Froch should retire but while he is undecided, the 37-year-old three-time world champion does not want to fight DeGale even if it means winning back his old belt.
"I'll be flipping a coin to see if I am going to fight again but to be totally honest, the DeGale fight doesn't do anything for me," he told Sky Sports.
I've just vacated the IBF so it would be nice to see it come back to England, but is it a fight that I fancy? Not really.
"I can't get motivated to fight him. It's not an exciting fight for me. That's in no way disrespectful to DeGale because if he beats Dirrell - which is a tough task - he's done well.
"I hope he does beat him and brings the title back to Britain. That's good for British boxing, keeping the titles over here.
"I've just vacated the IBF so it would be nice to see it come back to England, but is it a fight that I fancy? Not really."
Froch, who beat Dirrell on points in Nottingham in 2009, also revealed he might not fight in Las Vegas.
He would've fulfilled a dream had Julio Cesar Chavez Jr not lost to Andrzej Fonfara in April but now is not sure he even wants to perform on the biggest stage in boxing.
"I would still like to fight in Las Vegas as I said before, but I am not even that fussed about that now," he said.
"I was working on the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight and I didn't really think 'ooh, I want some of this'. As a fan I enjoyed it and it was fantastic as a spectator but do I want to go there [to the MGM Grand] and fight?
"It's quite a small venue that only holds around 15 or 16,000."
