Carl Frampton says a fight with Scott Quigg can still happen if Eddie Hearn comes back to the negotiating table.

Belfast's IBF super-bantamweight champion this month rejected a straight £1.5m offer to fight Quigg, claiming the unification contest could be worth a combined £12m.

Frampton also questioned the validity of his rival's WBA 'ordinary' title, and the Jackal has now warned he will move on to other targets unless there is some encouragement from the Quigg camp.

"This fight can be made if Hearn will have a meeting with us," said Frampton, quoted in the Belfast Telegraph. "How do you make a fight if the other team won't have a meeting?

"Our team had one meeting with Hearn and everyone thought it went well and then they came out with the £1.5m offer for Manchester. Negotiations had not hit a brick wall.

"I'm the champion and they want me to go to Manchester and they promote the show. I hope the fight can be made but it can't be made if people won't talk.

"Even if it doesn't get made for the summer, I have plenty of options - a lot more than he does that's for sure, so everything will be rosy for us."

Those options could include WBC champ Leo Santa Cruz, who fights on the Floyd Maywether-Manny Pacquiao undercard on May 2, and the WBA's 'super' title-holder Guillermo Rigondeaux, who last week called out Quigg.

In the meantime Frampton kept himself active this week by sparring former three-weight world champion Shane Mosley.

"It was great working with Shane," he said. "He's 43 now but he's still ripped and has all the moves, it was a great experience. And he's a really nice guy, a real gentleman - he gave me loads of advice."
