Amir Khan has visited the school in northwestern Pakistan where Taliban militants massacred scores of children earlier this month.

The 28-year-old boxer, who was born in Britain but is of Pakistani origin, last week promised to help rebuild the damaged school in Peshawar where 148 pupils and staff were killed in the attack on December 16.

On Monday, he made good on his vow to show his support and offer encouragement to children too frightened to return to the military school.

While visiting Pakistan, Khan announced he would be building a boxing academy in the eastern city of Lahore.
