Gary Buckland and Stephen Foster Jnr headline the field for Prizefighter Lightweights III at York Hall in Bethnal Green later this year.

The December 6 card, which will be covered live on Sky Sports, also features Martin Ward's clash with Maxi Hughes in an eliminator for the British super featherweight title.

Buckland won Prizefighter Super Featherweights at York Hall in 2010, knocking out Derry Matthews in the second round of the final to lift the trophy.

He could face a revenge clash with Foster Jnr, who comes into the tournament on the back of two wins after his defeat by Anthony Crolla on the Carl Froch-George Groves undercard last November - Buckland beat Foster in a British title bout in 2012.

Four more fighters have been confirmed for the eight-man event - Danny Cassius Connor, Michael Devine, Lee Martin and Floyd Moore.

Cassius Connor is looking to go one better than his defeat in the Light Welterweights III final in July 2013.

Promoter Eddie Hearn will name the final two fighters soon, and he said: "We haven't had a Prizefighter since April this year and I'm excited to see the format return in its spiritual home.
