George Groves and Christopher Rebrasse both weighed in for Saturday’s super middleweight showdown without any problems.

Londoner Groves comfortably made the 12 stone limit after weighing in at 11st 13lbs 6oz, while Rebrasse will enjoy a slight advantage after tipping the scales at 11st 13lbs 8oz.

Groves is aiming to return to winning ways against the Frenchman at Wembley after suffering back-to-back stoppage defeats to IBF and WBA champion Carl Froch.

Rebrasse, who has a record of 22 wins from 27 fights, with two defeats and three draws, will put his European belt on the line while the vacant WBC silver title will also be up for grabs.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Groves said: "This is the most important fight of my career, really. It's a fight where you can't have any banana skins.

"On the way up, fights like this feel quite the same. The fight I had in May last year at the O2 was a must-win fight, as if I had lost that it would have been a big step back.

"But this is even different coming off the back of two losses, whether they were controversial or not. I'm back in the picture where if I win this fight I am challenging for a world title."
