David Price: Rebuilding his career on the continent

Heavyweight David Price will return to the ring in Berlin on March 29 when he takes on Czech Ondrej Pala.

The former British champion, now promoted by Sauerland, is rebuilding his career away from the spotlight after two high-profile losses to Tony Thompson last year.

He knocked out Istvan Ruzsinszky in the first round of his comeback fight in January but Pala could provide a step up bringing a 33-4 record.

His latest defeat saw him stopped inside three rounds by Dereck Chisora in November but his willingness to trade makes him an interesting proposition for Price, who is working with American trainer Tommy Brooks.

"This is exactly the type of fight I need," Price told Sauerland's website. "Pala is a guy who isn't afraid to come forward and trade. We saw this when he fought Chisora.

"Although Dereck got the stoppage, Pala was holding his own and I don't think he was ever in any real trouble, he just got spun into the corner and the fight was waved off.

"Now its my turn. I'm in great shape. Everything has been going really well in the gym with Tommy. I am looking forward to getting in there and exchanging blows with this guy. I am confident that on March 29th I am going to get the job done."
