Tyson Fury: Has turned his attentions to Deontay Wilder after David Haye injury
Tyson Fury has targeted American knockout specialist Deontay Wilder as his next opponent following the cancellation of his February showdown with David Haye.
Haye is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and contemplating his future in the ring after being advised by doctors to retire.
It is the second time in the space of two months that the former heavyweight champion has pulled out of a fight with Fury after a cut sustained in training scuppered their original September showdown.
A furious Fury took to Twitter to vent his rage at Haye before turning his attention to fellow undefeated heavyweight 'The Bronze Bomber'.
"You talk the talk, @BronzeBomber, now it's time to walk the walk!" Fury tweeted. "Wilder v Fury at the Phones 4U Arena February 8th - Let's get it on!!
"You and me is the biggest and most exciting fight in world boxing! You've had banter with me and my promoter @HennessySports so get someone to call Mick and let's give the fans a real fight!!"
Wilder has racked up a 30 straight victories by knockout with none of his opponents managing to last longer than four rounds.
The American, who took just 70 seconds to dispatch Audley Harrison in April, is currently searching for his next victim and is interested in Fury, claims his manager Jay Deas.
"Of course we are interested," Deas told World Boxing News: "I think it is the single biggest fight in the heavyweight division. It is one thing to call someone out, but I look forward to seeing if there is an offer.
"If the offer equals the magnitude of the fight and event, then we can begin discussions. I know Peter Fury wants it to happened and so do I , so hopefully it can be worked out."
