Defending champion Adonis Stevenson and challenger Tavoris Cloud were both comfortably inside the limit for their fight on Saturday night.
Stevenson makes the first defence of the WBC light-heavyweight title he won earlier this year when he knocked Chad Dawson out in the first round.
The former super-middleweight tipped the scales at 173.8lb, comfortably inside the 175lb limit.
Cloud, a long-time holder of the IBF strap until losing it to Bernard Hopkins last time, was also inside at 174.6lb for the clash in Montreal.
"Tavoris is a good fighter, I respect him," said Stevenson. "He's got power, but he got beaten by a 48-year-old. He looked terrible.
"He said he changed his trainer to beat Bernard. He changed back and now he thinks he's going to beat me.
"I prepared very well, whatever you bring, I am here."
The winner of the fight is under contract to make a mandatory defence of the title against Liverpool's Tony Bellew by the end of the year.
