Dereck Chisora: Next in line to challenge for the European title
Dereck Chisora has been installed as the mandatory challenger to European champion Kubrat Pulev in the wake of his victory over Malik Scott.
Chisora took the American's unbeaten record at the weekend when he failed to beat the referee's count in the sixth round of their non-title fight.
It was 'Del Boy's second successive stoppage win following his return to action following a defeat to David Haye last summer and a British Boxing Board of Control suspension.
The London heavyweight had previously fought Robert Helenius for the vacant European title but lost on a highly controversial points decision, earning him a shot at WBC champion Vitali Klitschko which he also lost on points.
However, despite four losses in the space of a year (he also lost to Tyson Fury) Chisora remains in the mix domestically and internationally.
He is set to return at London's Copper Box on September 21 although the Pulev fight is considered unlikely to happen, with the unbeaten Bulgarian thought more likely to vacate the belt instead in favour of a more lucrative option.
