Olympic champion Nicola Adams led home a trio of Great Britain gold medallists at the Women's European Boxing Championships in Hungary on Saturday.

Fighting in her first competition since her historic triumph in London last summer, Adams outpointed Bulgaria's Stoyka Petrova to successfully defend her EU flyweight title by unanimous decision.

Adams was joined on top of the podium by team-mates Lisa Whiteside and Savannah Marshall.

Whiteside secured a unanimous points win over Czech Alice Sromkova, while Marshall overcame Holland's Nouchka Fontjin by the same method.

Irish lightweight Katie Taylor won her fifth gold medal after claiming an unanimous decision over France's Estelle Mossely.
