Lucian Bute will fight Jean Pascal in a much-anticipated Canadian light-heavyweight superbout on 25 May.
Romanian-born Bute will put his NABF title on the line as he attempts to line up rematch with Carl Froch, to whom he gave up his IBF super middleweight crown in May last year.
Promoters Interbox and Groupe Yvon Michel confirmed that terms had been agreed and while a venue is yet to be confirmed, it is expected the fight will go ahead in Montreal.
"This fight will mark an historic moment for boxing in Canada. Emotions will be high and the memories will be engraved in the collective memory forever," said promoter Yvon Michel, whose GYM .
