George Groves has announced he has split with promoter Frank Warren, and will not now face Mohamed Ali Ndiaye for the vacant European super-middleweight crown later this month.
The 24-year-old from Hammersmith had been due to face Ali Ndiaye on the Warren bill that was to include Ricky Burns and Nathan Cleverly.
A statement for Warren read: "He has stated that he is not interested in boxing for the EBU title at this moment and would like to take his choice of fights in another direction.
"I would like to wish George all the best with his career and look forward to working again with him in the near future."
The Groves-Ali Ndiaye fight was announced in January and originally scheduled for Wembley Arena on Saturday, 16 March, but has since been postponed until 20 April.
