Johnathan Banks is out of his rematch with Seth Mitchell in Atlantic City on February 16.
However, the co-main feature which sees Adrien Broner defend his WBC lightweight title against Welshman Gavin Rees will still go ahead.
Banks, who shocked fellow heavyweight Mitchell in November with a second-round knockout, has suffered a broken thumb in training.
A new date for the clash is being sought although it remains possible that Mitchell could fight a late stand-in.
The undercard sees former super-middleweight contender Sakio Bika go up against undefeated Montenegran Nikola Sjekloca.
